Claudia and team are experts in knowing how to stage a house to get it sold. Their package was a mixture of advice and a few actual items of furniture which came together to make our empty house look lived in and appealing. The photos that the realtor look were simply amazing thanks to the staging and they generated around 50 showings until we had an offer within 30 days. The money we spent with Domestic Harmony was therefore a no-brainer because every house for sale deserves to be staged well.

I needed a moveout clean of a big house. I dealt with Marva on the phone. She is fab! We agreed a fixed price and they honoured that price. The cleaners Rupert and Catherine were great- they really care and they seemed 100% honest and trustworthy. I had such a great experience with them that I will use them every time from now on and will recommend them to everyone.

This company is amazing. Let me start by saying not all jobs are perfect, it's inevitable when replacing 20-year old windows that there can be challenges, and we had some challenges when replacing 8 windows on the rear of our house. I won't go into details but let me say that the owners Vlad and Serge took care of everything so quickly and so professionally, and they wouldn't stop until I was 150% satisfied! The crew of Antony, Victor and Slava worked tirelessly in 32c heat until I had perfect windows and a perfect finish to the job. Have a look at the pic I uploaded. Window Seal West is a fantastic local business that REALLY CARES about each and every customer, so believe the other reviews that say the same. Another key point is that they manufacture in Calgary so if there is a problem they can make or fix a new window in just days! If you choose this company you can sleep well at night knowing that they will take care of you until you are totally satisfied and for years afterwards. The windows are beautiful and the way they finished them is equally appealing. Believe the other reviews, Kevin is responsive, professional and fair. He fitted two PIN pad / key locks on our two main doors and we absolutely love them. He was flexible about when he could come round, and he did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone looking for locks.

Our garage door spring failed. I called them at 830am, we agreed a time of 11am, and at almost exactly 11am they showed up. The price was agreed in advance on the phone so there were no surprises. The workman was super friendly and trustworthy. This is the third time I have used them and I can see why they have such a high rating on HomeStars. Years ago I used a rogue trader who ripped me off big time for replacing a garage door spring ($700!!) but since finding Stampede my faith in honest excellent workmanship has been restored and I will use them every time. You should too.

I needed to replace a large furnace and add AC to the new system. Brent the owner was the most knowledgeable and responsive of the 3 companies I contacted. When he visited to do the estimate he raised things that the others didn’t and gave very detailed solid advice. He knows his stuff. Christian and the install team were amazing; a high quality job, completed in one very long day (they stayed really late so that they wouldn’t inconvenience me the next day). A couple of weeks later I had a teething trouble and Christian came the same day to fix it. Great customer service. The City issued certificates for both the gas and electrics, it’s clear the City doesn’t worry when it’s a Shift Air installation. I now have a quiet efficient furnace, amazing AC in the summer, and a top-of-the-range WiFi connected thermostat so that I can control the system from anywhere in the world. Their bill was exactly as quoted, they did not gouge me for any extras. Brent and his guys seem really busy (which is a good sign I suppose) but they are very responsive and I am delighted I chose them.

We found this company on Homestars. They came round really quickly (keen to win business obviously) and their price was very fair compared to others we have used. They did a great job of cleaning all external windows on 3 floors. Will use them again!

We had around 10 large items of furniture to move from a beltline condo to a condo on the westside. I chose these guys because they specialize in small moves, including condos which can be a pain, and they charge by the hour. They came on time, they took care of not damaging anything, they were nice guys, they worked really hard, and their pricing was accurate and transparent.

I love these guys. I have used them twice; the first time the springs had snapped, the second time (today) the door was failing to open and close properly. They arrived within 3 hours of me calling! They are honest, nice guys, they don't rip you off at all. Today they could have easily convinced me to spend $500 on a new system but they didn't and I appreciated their honesty. I will use Stampede every time and I thoroughly recommend them.

We have 3 fireplaces, one of which had broken glass. I had ordered the replacement glass but had no idea how to fit it safely. I called Barbecues Galore and booked to have all 3 fireplaces serviced and cleaned, and they offered to fit the glass at the same time at no extra charge! The two guys who serviced the fireplaces were excellent; knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, and they did a great job. They fitted the new glass with ease and I now have peace of mind. If you want fireplaces checked for safety and to get them looking like new, these are the guys.

We chose the right people in Perfect Turf. We made the bold move to go for an artificial lawn, we had 3 quotes, and we liked the approach / quality / professionalism of Perfect Turf. Dustin is a great guy who knows his craft. They arrived on time, they worked like trojans for a week in the heat, and the end result is stunning. I recently asked them to come back and tidy up one small part of the turf that had moved due to frost heave and they showed up within ONE HOUR (probably because they were in the area), now that's what I call great customer service. Here's why Fun and Function (Pete and Mark) deserve 10 out of 10: Reliable, honest, trustworthy, ethical, great guys, straight shooters with tons of great advice, respectful, and above all they are perfectionists who love their craft and love delighting their customers. I simply cannot fault them or their work. A bit more detail: we had never had a bathroom reno done before and we needed a main bathroom and a powder room to be done to a high standard of finish. Pete gave us tons of advice and helped us with all of the difficult choices without being patronizing. He was very honest and transparent with the quotation and we felt that although he isn't at the cheap end of the market we were getting good value considering we wanted quality products and a quality job. I didn't nickel and dime them, and they didn't nickel and dime me. A job this big is all about a relationship and we felt we could have such a relationship with Pete. He was flexible with us, and we were flexible in return, and together we figured everything out. Pete and Mark did the work on time and on budget, they were a pleasure to have in the house, and the quality of their work (including the tile work, installations and plumbing) were superb. They are obsessed with quality and perfection, and they kept on saying how they want every customer to be delighted. We had one slight issue and they dealt with it promptly and professionally, whereas I imagine some companies would have taken my money and never returned afterwards. In summary, we went into this as very naive homeowners and we ended up with 2 beautiful new bathrooms on time and on budget. Please believe all the other great reviews, Damien is a star (well, 10 stars actually!) My house and furnace presented him with a couple of challenges, and while some of his competitors would have probably walked away, Damien takes such pride in his work - and takes such care of his customers - that he resolved them to my full satisfaction. He is a gentleman, and is more than 100% trustworthy to have in your house. As this is his own business, he does a thorough job at a fair price and as such I would encourage you to consider giving him your business. Terry
