Perfecto Painting & Renovation

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!
My husband and I hired a neighbourhood "handyman" to paint 2 bathrooms and a spare bedroom. The bathroom required the removal of old towel holders and toilet paper holders. This "handyman" did a horrible job painting and patching up holes that he made that really didn't need to be made in the first place. We fired him and after researching homestars.com we came across Perfecto Painting. We called Rene on Tuesday, he came over Wednesday to give us a quote, and by Thursday we had a finished bedroom and the bathroom patchwork done, by Friday the work was finished. Rene is amazing!!!! He takes great pride in his work and will not leave until you are 100% satisfied. I'm a very picky person and am the first to admit that I am hard to please but Rene definitely does great work and I am completely happy with his services. He will not take payment until the homeowner has inspected the work and is happy. This proves that he does amazing work. We are planning on painting the rest of our house next year and we will only trust Rene to do it for us. We have already recommended him to friends and family and he only finished the job 3 hours ago!!!
Rene, Leo and I want to thank you so much for coming over so quickly to fix the mess left behind by the "handyman". You are a very talented painter and we are extremely happy with your workmanship. Be ready to take a call from us next year when we decide to paint the rest of our house. :-)

I hired Rene Vasquez to paint a couple rooms in my house and a hallway. I chose Perfecto based on the many positive reviews and I was not disappointed. Rene started and finished the job on time and is an extremely honest and professional person. It was clear that he takes pride in his work as he did not cut any corners in terms of product used and prep work. He filled in all the cracks and smoothed out all the wear on tear on this 80 year old house. The makeover looks great! Happy to recommend Rene and Perfecto.

We have had a few traumatic experiences with contracors over the last four years, and this job sat waiting for completion while we licked our wounds and regrouped. We were so relieved to find someone who knew his business; that person is Rene Vazquez. He started when he said he would, and returned every day until the job was done - on schedule. There was a large, deep skylight which needed extensive plaster repair,and some drywall retaping/plastering, not to mention several drywall screw pop-ups to correct, before the actual painting could be started. Rene's repairs were beautifully executed. The painting involved three levels, including a cathedral ceiling. Rene cleaned up at the end of each day, and removed all debris at the end of the job. There were no surprises when it came time to pay. What a refreshing experience! We are more than thrilled with both the man and his work, and will call him back for future painting jobs.

If you want a professional job done at a reasonable price, then Rene is your man. From drywall installation to ceiling repair, carpentry and painting; he is a master at them all. We cannot speak more highly of him and will not hesitate to recommend him to everyone we know.

His workmanship and attention to detail is superb. He protects the work area to ensure there is no damage to your home and is meticulous about daily clean up. A pleasant change from other renovation experiences we have had. Rene truly lives up to his company name and only accepts perfection; he even shines a spotlight on the drywall while he works to ensure he takes care of the slightest indentation in the finish. Also Rene came back the DAY AFTER final payment to check if there were any imperfections that needed attention once everything was fully dry - when have you ever heard of this?

As well, Rene was totally flexible working around the timetables of many other servicemen involved in demolishing and installing our kitchen. They in turn were so impressed with his workmanship and work ethic that they are also recommending him to their clients and will be working alongside him again soon. We have also rehired Rene to work on our basement as soon as his schedule allows.

This was a major renovation for us that was made far easier because Rene was involved with it. His quote was clear and concise, he did exactly what he said he was going to do (and more) and his price was very competitive and devoid of hidden costs. The only problem we have now is to find enough renovation to keep Rene around forever - Sir, you are a gentleman!

Rene came to my condo to paint the bathroom. He repaired the plaster work (left by the building plumbers who never returned to fix it), fix the gaping hole in my sink cupboards (also left by the plumbers) and did a great job of painting the bathroom. I am very pleased with his work and would recommend him to anyone.

Rene showed up on time to give me a quote on painting the condo. His quote was very reasonable but what really got my attention was the fact that he could complete the job in two days. He patched the holes, painted the condo and even helped me clean up the mess left by a previous painter. He volunteered to help me move furniture out of the way and recommended someone to help me with my bathroom renovations. All in all, Rene did a great job and I would use him again in a heartbeat.
