La Vie Furniture

About two years ago I got one of their bedroom sets (bed frame, night tables, tall dresser and low dresser with mirror) here because it looked pretty and was cheap. Unfortunately it hasn't stood up well to wear and tear. When we unwrapped the mirror we noticed a tiny defect in it but didn't want to bother with getting it replaced. One of the end tables is missing a chunk of veneer and shows the presswood underneath, and quite a few knobs have loosened on the dressers.

In hindsight, it would have been better to make do with used furniture and save up for something better. Looks nice when it is new, though.

I ordered a glass table set from lavie in November, 2010 and my house wasn't ready until last Thursday. They held the table for me with no charge and I am very happy with my table and their service. I recommended this place to lots of my friends.

I made my buying decision because of reviews on this site. Finally I bought a sectional sofa from la vie after weeks of research. When they delivered to me, the sofa can't get into the door. (my bad, I measured my living room, hall way but forget my door) The delivery guys were very professional and helped me disassemble the sofa and re-assemble back. That small accident caused 4 hours delay and they didn't show me any atitude and were very professional. I really want to come back here to share my experience to others. This is a great store to shop with and service is the best.

I have renovated a bedroom and I needed new furniture. I found what I wanted through their web site and at a very good price. The furniture is well put together and solid wood. Jack and Sharon were excellent to work with because I had to have it shipped to calgary. It was extremely well packaged and fast delivery. We had to comunicate back and forth and they we very nice and extremely helpful. I love the furniture and will order from them again. Thanks
