We hired Student Lawn Services to mow our grass weekly throughout the spring, summer and fall. They offered us a good discount to pay up front so we took them up on the offer. What a mistake that was! They skipped multiple weeks, some weeks they only mowed our front lawn and missed our back lawn. Now it is October and they have not come for the last five weeks. We have phoned them over and over and they have NEVER returned our phone calls. They should not be trusted. Not only have they ripped us off financially, but the times they did actually show up, they did a terrible job - missing patches, leaving grass all over our pathways, and ignoring the edges. I will never use this company again and would recommend to anyone that they be avoided.

Student Lawn Care was hired to remove weeds, create grass and mow the lawn for my elderly mother. When the meet and greet occurred the owner/sales person promised a great job, etc.

After 1 month, his hired help (very young and did not speak English) came by to remove weeds, but after the 2nd visit, pretty much ignored this most important component to making the lawn weed free etc.
The only thing they were consistent at was doing a semi-ok job mowing the lawn; but even at that they missed allot of spots, etc.

When I complained the excuses started setting in... promises to come by and look at the lawn, promises that were all broken.

They ahd the nerve to send us the remainder of the installment after they were fired too.

This company does not hire students, nor do they do a good job with lawn services. Avoid them is my strong opinion.

This company should be avoided. I hired them to do my lawn services this fall 2008, after a nice saleperson came to my door. The service was always weak--they never cleaned up part of my garage and front yard and did a poor job overall. I called three times for them to finish the job properly and they never did. Then, when it came time for a fall cleaning before winter, they kept promising they would show do it, and never did! It is early December and I am stuck with a yard full of frozen leaves thanks to Student Lawn Services. If you want a lawn service, hire a professional company that you can trust and NOT Student Lawn Services.
