Absolutely fabulous service right from the beginning! Mark in the showroom was very knowledgeable and helpful. He listened to our needs and as we changed our minds 5 different times, happily wrote us up new quotes each time. He kept us up-to-date on possible install dates, suggested their electrician and brick layer they work closely with as we had a big job ahead of us and made sure we were always in the loop. Everyone involved in this job from Mark, to the brick layer, to Andre (the electrician), the labourers, the install crew, to Tony (boss man) everyone was just fabulous. Having any sort of renovations done is stressful but they all made it quite painless. Tony also came on the last day on the install and made sure everything was up to par and Mark stopped by the day after to check things out and brought us a little gift from the owners. Kempenfelt is the best choice for your window and door needs! Great job guys!

Your crew of 6 guys were here today and have done an amazing job on the windows/door install. What a professional group of guys... older ones and the younger ones too. Rich, Leo, 2 Kevins and did not catch the other names. But they are great guys, very professional and worked very hard. The job was completed by 2pm ish except for the outside trim.

I had Kempenfelt Windows & Doors in to replace the picture window in my living room. I was impressed from start to finish with the salesperson, the service staff and the installers and their workmanship. Definitely recommend!

Kempenfelt has attended on site TWICE and inspected a window they installed, that wont lock. Have a senior woman living in a ground floor unit with a window that wont lock. DISGUSTING

We visited the showroom around the end of January/beginning of February and ordered our door. We felt the pricing was competitive and went ahead with our order. We had hoped to have it installed beginning of March but there was a bit of a delay, nothing too serious as they kept us notified throughout the process.

On the day of the install, the workers were efficient and thorough, and did a great job of cleaning up and hauling away our old door. We love the new look and would recommend Kempenfelt.

We had Kempenfelt install all our windows and we were very impressed with the crew's skill, efficiency, cleanliness, and the extra effort they put in to making sure every window and frame was perfect.
One window was a large bow which had been poorly designed originally and Ken, the expert on Bow windows, spent a lot of time to make sure that it looked fabulous.
The windows were delivered early the crew was fast, and in and out in less than 2 1/2 days.
Would use them again in a minute.

This is my third home with replacement windows installed by this company. I have not written a review for their company with the past service but needed to let people aware of what wonderful product these windows are. I am so completely happy with the installers work ethics . During the install it was a cold and windy day, but they didn't stop,and while I was away at work they secured my home for me. The windows give off a wonderful light and are sexy. Thank you very much.

After installation of a new side entry door I immediately contacted the salesman to inform him that I could see daylight around door. It seemed that the door was too small for the frame, as there was a significant gap between the door and the jam. The response from the salesman was dismissive, simply sending a reply that there wasn't anything he could do about it, but he would pass my concerns on to the service department. When the installation supervisor came a few days later, he said it was just the sunlight shining through the magnetic seal. JUST daylight shining through the seal? The seal might keep the wind from blowing into the house, but how much insulation value does a piece of magnetized plastic have? I showed him our front door, a 15 year old builder grade style, and pointed out that the spacing between the door and the jam was about half of the new "quality custom" Kempenfelt door. He said that the builder door was actually too tight. That's right, he felt that the old builder door needed MORE of a gap, I suppose so it would let in daylight like the great one that had just been installed.

We are now replacing our front door, and there is ZERO chance that I will consider Kempenfelt. They claim they are voted #1 in Barrie. By who? They say their warranty is the best, 25 years on the whole door, but what good is a 25 year warranty when you aren't happy from day one, and the company thinks there is no problem. They offered to have the manufacturer contact me to "explain" about the product. I didn't choose or contract with the manufacturer. I paid my money to Kempenfelt. The product we received should never have passed quality control, as I doubt that the spacing tolerance is within acceptable limits for energy rating. Very unhappy with the product and the lack of motivation on the part of the company to advocate on behalf of their customer with the manufacturer to get a door that would keep out the cold of a Canadian winter.

Don't be fooled by marketing and promises.
