Reliance Superior Heating & Air Conditioning

At 10pm I found my hot water tank had burst, after calling around and getting no where due to my financial situation, I called reliance and with in minutes the guy on the other end said you can finance it with us I'll be there at 10am to install a new one. He arrived at 9:58AM he sat and filled out a small amount of paperwork while his helper put the tank in and they were gone by 10:50AM. He was absolutely wonderful and there was no mess left behind. Excellent wonderful service and staff!!!

Trying too get ahold of them is a joke.Did not return my phone call.Still waiting for furnace work too be done.Looking for more work and not sure who too call.

My first experience with Relaince was to diagnose a horrible noise coming from my furnace and give it a tune up; Rob T was friendly, cleaned out my poorly maintained furnace and recommended the protection plan for the motor that was sure to die. Lucky for me I took the plan, after a few weeks my motor did die (our first night below -20 of course!) and this time Jose M was to the rescue! Within 2 hours (!) he came and confirmed the motor that needed replacing, went across town to pick up a rare part for my older model furnace and had my furnace running smoothly and quietly - I barely had time to pull out my extra sweaters and blankets and my heat was back on! :) thank you!

We required service on our furnace, the service technician, Brent was very professional and kind. He explained what the work he was doing and informed us of any follow up work that was required on the furnace. He was on time for his appointment which was very important as we are a busy family. Also, his explanation of what was wrong was informative and helped us to better understand how important annual maintenance is on our furnace. I would highly recommend him and the Reliance company because of the service he provided.

We chose Reliance Superior to replace/install our furnace.

A few months later we noticed that our thermostat was not working properly. Changed the batteries, but still could not properly maintain a temperature in the house. Purchased another thermostat and realised that we could not update it cause the third wire was never fed up.

Contacted Reliance and scheduled an appointment to see what could be done. Technician called to say they were on their way and ask for a few details. A few minutes they called back to say that they probably would not be able to complete the work and an electrician would need to be called. If I still wanted him to come, it would be $99 for the service call, plus whatever charge for the electrician. I canceled the appointment. Pretty frustrating considering the appointment had been made a few days prior, and they tell me this when they were supposed to be on their way.

Called another company. Found out that rather than running the third wire to update the thermostat, Reliance had installed a toggle switch at the furnace. Making it impossible to update our thermostat. Laziness? Set up for future business? Cost us another $150 to have it fixed.

Service from Reliance was and always has been prompt and professional. Best company I have worked with over the last forty years as a home owner. Thanks again to Brent Harris for his work today to fix my furnace.

service guy Terry was excellent ,new his stuff and fix our issue right away. But dealing with their call centre was a a most frustrating experience ,said i was not on the cust. list but have had a lot of things done and NO i dont want a service plan because i still have warrenty . thanks again Terry
