Washer

Absolutely horrible ....Come on whirlpool...step up and do something about your customer service!! You have become an embarrassing joke !
It's time to put some pride into your name brand. You could learn a few things from other brands that are taking care of their customers, and being recommended for their effort (price pfister) is a perfect ex sample give them a call, you will be taken care of with whatever your concerns are and promptly too! Ask them for their handbook on customer service.....you need a overhaul badly

Maytag washer - Canada whirlpool customer service

The worst customer experience I ever had.

My brand new whasher had some electronical troubles since day 1. I was enough kind (or should i say stupid) to call the customer service to resolve my problem.

1 month later, I am washing my clothes in a public laundry waiting for them to replace my washer...

From my point of view, they are :

- unskilled
- rude
- insincere

Stay away from Whirlpool and all products they may support unless you like to fight.

Shame on they.

Whirlpool Service

Kitchenaid Refrigerator stopped working after 11 months of owning it. Called for repair under warranty on July 4th, it is now Aug 12 - STILL WAITING! Technician will not answer calls and Whirlpool cust service just keeps sending him emails to call me-which he doesn't!!! Now, I've insisted on a new technician which means the process has to start all over again - new tech has to come out, assess, order parts etc.... WILL NEVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL OWNED APPLIANCE AGAIN!!!! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dryer

I purchased this product in February of 2014. On the second day the sensor dry stopped working, in that the clothes would dry forever without the sensor realizing that they were dry. Both a fire hazard and waste of energy. It was fixed under warranty.

Next the timed dry feature stopped working in that there was no heat. Whirlpool tried to say first it was a low heat problem and normal and then said that it wasn't meant to work and you should use the sensor dry cycles. After many calls to Whirlpool my dryer was replaced because it could not be fixed.

Unfortunately the replacement dryer has THE EXACT SAME ISSUES. First the sensor dry stopped working. Then the timed dry stopped having any heat. Whirlpool tried to say that the timed dry feature never worked, nor was never supposed to work, which was impossible because I dried clothes using it. This problem cannot be fixed and whirlpool refuses to deal with the issue saying just to use sensor dry (which currently doesn't work also). Do not buy this dryer! It has been a headache and a huge waste of money.

Microwave

Very, very, poor quality, microwave door handle cracked twice in less than 2 years, company replaced once, 3 months after it was replaced noticed cracking again. Customer service says sorry can't help you. Problem started before product was even a year old. Will never buy whirlpool again and will not recommend it to anyone ever.

fridge freezer bottom

fridge was leaking badly all over my floor it was only 2 years old
after finding out in my own research its a defect they new about and still sold the fridges with out telling ppl I called to complain.
customer service told after a long argument it was going to be covered part and service
funny thing... repair guy came and service coverage wasn't on the work order
I then had to call again and they pretended the conversation didn't happen
after letting them know I recorded it and wrote down all the names and confirmations I said I wanted a supervisor
the supervisor decided I was being un truthful and told me they again wouldn't cover it
I then threatened to sue them along with the others for my now damages hardwood floor I told him I would bring my audio recording and names with me
all of sudden they agreed to cover the service again
ill be waiting to see if the work order has everything on it....
horrible customer service and horrible product
un fortunately when purchasing my new home I also had to go with whirlpool or my dish washer and stove... I've had many problems with my dishwasher and am just waiting for the stove to crap out as well

front load clothes washer

Absolutely the worst experience with this company. I purchased brand new front load washer and dryer combo in July 2013. For personal reasons I did not use the appliances until December 2013. The washing machine had a small leak at the left front which I reported to Whirlpool....It is now end of April 2014 and machine remains unusable and is in worse condition than when I first reported. The condition was made worse as a result of incompetent service technicians sent by Whirlpool. After five visits, I refused to allow the technicians to enter my premises. Apparently a senior Whirlpool representative is aware of the problem (the salesperson from the store where the product was purchased attempted to intervene on my behalf). The salesperson was told to stay out of it and that Whirlpool would handle the situation. I have yet to receive a call from the faceless, nameless Whirlpool representative and the salesperson is "not allowed" to share this information with customers. Whirlpool CANADA customer calls are routed into Tennessee and the call centre people are of no help (other than to arrange to have technicians' appointments set up for repairs). I am at my wits end and no one at Whirlpool appears to care about customers who are not satisfied or who are experiencing problems with their products. I am advising anyone I speak to/with to stay away from any and all Whirlpool products.

dryer

Horrible after sales service. Our dryer broke down 4 times and trying to get someone on the phone and to come in to repair it was a nightmare. I would never ever buy one of their products again. Its one thing when an appliance breaks; its another thing to literally spend a day off work just to get though to someone. Cant tell you how bad this company is

Whirpool Washer

Bought a washer/dryer set and it spin cycle doesn't work after 1.5 years. Called Whirlpool and part and labour to replace there MCU chip is $250 +Labour of $100. Pretty much same cost to buy new one. Worst Customer service, not willing to help. Will not buy again from Whirpool.
