In March, we had Penfolds replace our tired cedar shakes with the Eco roof medium slate shingles. My brother referred us to Penfolds since he was very happy with his Eco roof which he got done in 2010. The crew was very friendly, professional, cleaned up, helpful and was available to answer any questions. Even the smallest detail was not missed. The roof looks great! I would like to thank Jonathan and his crew they put a metal roof on our house. They did in 4 days with the first day being sunny but the 3 days it rained. My husband is still amazed at such a good job they did. The crew was so nice. I am glad we chose Penfolds.

Everything that we were told in your initial discussions came about exactly as advertised, and we particularly appreciate the fact that you did not sugar-coat the process - you told us we would be living in a "construction zone" for at least a week, but that the crews would clean up at the end of each business day, and that at the end of it all, other than the new roof, we would never know that you had been there. That's exactly what happened.

Our crew worked hard, they were helpful, personable, and careful, and not so much as a single branch of a single tree or shrub was disturbed. They took great care to cover plants, patios, and outbuildings so that we had no clean-up of any sort to deal with when the crews left. I sent a note to your president, Mr. Mayhew after the job was done, just expressing how pleased we were with both the process and the final outcome ... and having Ron, the supervisor, visiting the job site at least once a day and sometimes twice, gave us a real feeling of security. We would certainly recommend Penfolds to any friend, neighbour, or relative,with complete confidence.

Jonathan discussed all possible options, giving us pros and cons of each style of roof, leaving us time to choose without pressure. After we made our choice he was very flexible on scheduling considering weather and our timing. The Crew was efficient and courteous. Any questions were answered in a professional manner. The sales manager Sean Crowther was great, he clearly explained what types of options were available for the roofing,
the Eco-Roof was chosen, and the pricing and process of roof installation were excellent.
Sean is very knowledgeable about the roofing business and answered all questions about how the roof was being installed.
The crew team was very professional and finished the installation process within a week for the Eco rubber roof.
The team was respectful of the property, cleaned everything well during and after roof installation,
and was flexible about the times agreed to install the roof.

This is the second roof that Penfolds Roofing has done for me. I was so pleased with the first job in 1998 that I did not hesitate when I needed a new roof on my current house. The prospect of having one’s Strata complex roof replaced is daunting, not only because of the expense, but also because one never knows if the company one chooses is going to live up to their word and warranty. Penfolds has proven to our Strata that their excellent reputation is duly deserved. Brent May endured our dealings with the City of North Vancouver’s Heritage Department with patience and support, always promptly providing any information or quotes we required throughout. Field Supervisor Matt was onsite prior to, during and after the work was complete, and Roderick and his excellent crew were exemplary in their attention to detail, constant check-ins with the residents, daily and final clean up and incredibly positive and friendly attitude. The roof looks great, the warranty (not to mention the price) is beyond satisfactory and the whole process was trouble-free due to the hard work and dedication shown by the entire team.
