Bought a washer and dryer at the Brick in May-realized right away the washer does not work properly_ 5 cycles don't work (Quick wash, rinse and spin, spin, normal ) Called the brick to get it serviced, service ppl only work 8am to 4 pm through the week -they will not pre book a service call. You have to wait till day of and receive a call in the morning to book service for that day. I am not sure how many vacation days "The brick" thinks you can use for a faulty item they sell you! Never again will I buy from them
baught a mattress, mattress box and a mattress cover from brick on Friday oct 5th. I didnot wanted to buy the mattress cover but jaspreet(sales associate) said he would give us discount, so I agreed to buy that cover. I had that cover with me and wanted to bring that home the same day, but jaspreet said he would said that cover with the delivery so we agreed.
I got the delivery on Sunday but the mattress cover wasn't the same that jaspreet showed us. I looked at the bill and found that the bill had the cheaper cover listed.
So what technically happened was I was showed a different mattress cover, but they put a different cover in my bill and delivered that cheaper cover.
I went to talk to the store manager and he said it was my fault that I did not look at the bill during the purchase. I trusted brick thats why I didn't look at my bill. He said I would have to pay extra to get that cover. They were clearly thinking that I was ...
I am dealing with brick from 2011 and till now I gave around 40, 000 business to the brick at kenaston.The difference in covers was only $10 and to save those $10, brick employees harrassed me.
It is clear that neither me, nor my friends or family members are going to brick now. All my friends and family members give around $20000 business every year to you guys but not even a single person helped me, they were not polite at all. Their faces were like they wanted to kick us out from the store. Instead of apologizing, they said it was our fault that we didn't look at the bill during the purchase.
Now where is bricks customer service.
Their sales manager said this never happened in last 7 years so this can never happen. Which clearly meant that I was wrong.
I gave the mattress cover back to guys and asked them to keep that.
Now i don't want any resolution from brick but non of my family members and friends are going to brick now.
Over the years we have bought a few things from the brick and Leons (same owners)
however i have been faced with bad experiences each and everytime i have gone with them.
I am so frustrated i am actually starting to post my bad experiences for you all to read.
I purchased a 6,200 Couch from the brick with a 5 year warranty i had to make a claim
my first year having the couch. it took them 5 months just to get me a call for someone
to look at my couch. What i had wrong was two of my non reclining seats the couchans deflated
so when you sit on them you are on the corner and you slide to one side. they said this was normal
its ok to sit on your couch and be sitting straight and then slide to your other partys 30 seconds later??
so i also had the stitching start to come out of my lounger. this was covered but it took 90 days and still no responce
the brick offered to replace my hole couch. or take money and cancel out my warranty so i thought ok cool so i get a new couch and i still have four years warranty
they replaced my couch and did not transfer the warranty so i ended up only getting a manufacturer warranty only on this new couch
so i have the same probelm again where the couchan only leans to one side and the shay lounger is freyed.
I have put in a claim again and we will see how long it takes this time.
I was never told that switchign the couch would take out my warrenty if so i would have just got the money and ran.
they told me it was on my invoice but i was not handed anything so its great they have copys on there side but i do not have copies on my side

I bought the mattress at the above mentioned store and after a couple of weeks the mattress became uncomfortable with some weird noises and when I came back to the store to report the issue they recommended me to reselect the mattress and taking more expensive by paying the difference.
They never offered me to make a mattress waranty claim and I didn't know about this option. The new mattress delivery has been scheduled and the mattress has been replaced with an expensive one around 03:00 pm. Right after the delivery we left and came back arround the midnight. We put the mattress protector and the bed sheats and we noticed a very strong smell from the mattress, it was very stinky and after 10 min me and my wife started sneezing and having a short breathing. I packed the mattress back and put in the garage in the middle of the night and me and my wife slept at the couches. I came back to the store first thing and the morning, at 09:00 am after I barely slept and talked to the store manager. The lady was very rude and not willing to help at all, she just said there is nothing we can do for you and this after we spent more than 12k at this store. I asked her what can be done and she offered to have a technician coming to check the mattress in at least 2 weeks. I asked her where am I suppose to sleep for a 2 weeks and she said you can buy a new mattress and this after we spent 2000$ on this mattress. I asked her if there is an original or general manager that I can contact to and she said that I can’t and her decision is final and there is no one can change her decision. I had no choice and I bought another mattress that was on sale, by the way this is the same mattress that I have had from the first place but with no issues at all. After the payment I asked for an urgent delivery as I have no mattress to sleep on but was told that the earliest one they have is in 10 days and they can’t help me. I left the store with very bad feeling and headed to the brick warehouse to pick up the mattress by myself. The day after I came to the store once again asking to return the defective mattress and having a full refund but the lady was not willing to help at all . I kept insisting to have my issue raised to the higher management level and after I was begging for at least 30 min she told me that she will check this matter with her manager and will get back to me. I left the store with kind of hope and was waiting for the lady to call me back. After a week I didn’t hear from her and called the store and left her a message to call me back but she didn’t. After 3 days I called again and left her the message to call me back and she never did, I came to the store to meet her in person and she was to busy that she couldn’t talk to me. She called me back after 2 weeks and I asked her if she has any news and her answer was “” what neews are you waiting for, I told you at the first day that this is my decision and it’s final. If this is the way to treat your customers after they spent more thah 12 k at this store? I would recommend to stay away from this brick location.
Bought a Samsung Washer and Dryer set plus the warranty and delivery service on Weds May 9 on the condition that it was delivered to me on SAturday May 12 - Sales Rep said not a problem. I get a call on Thursday that its being delivered Friday May 11 not Saturday. Call them back to say I was promised Saturday MAy 12 - they said it wasnt possible and the only other nearest date would be Sun May 13 (Mothers Day) - called sales rep at store to discuss - apparently he wasnt available. Stay home sunday to receive it ; the washer arrives, bt no dryer - they say its on backorder for another week. Nobody calls to update us that one week means actually 3 weeks - I call the store they say Dryer will be delivered June 7. I stay home from work June 7, guys deliver dryer, plug it in, attach vent and leave. When I go to use dryer 3 days later on the weekend, I realize they didnt hook up the hose for the steam feature on the dryer....I call the Brick and say they need to come back and install, ...The Brick "customer service deaprtment" says - sorry sir, they wont come back as its been over 72 hours since delivery and thats our policy. LOL - ARE YOU SERIOUS ???? wow, i cant even bring myself to argue with these people (despite trying mind you) simply not worth EVER visitng the Brick again. The horrible service isnt worth the $50 bucks yo may save on the price of the appliance versus somewhere else - they are just a joke when it comes to cusotmer service / customer retention. I have NEVER written a review here or anywhere about a service complaint, but cant let this escape me....just brutal.. I wouldnt go back to BRICK if they were giving stuff away for a looney and you didnt have to pay anything until the year 2050 - never again getting my business
Do not buy at The Brick and certainly never use their so called Appliance Repair department. The words CUSTOMER and SERVICE are only for show at this company and they have no interest or concern about your satisfaction or providing what you paid for. A sad example of profit over substance and customer focus.
We were offered a "special deal" when we bought our new condo to buy our appliances at The Brick and it was the worst consumer experience of our lives. When they delivered our supposedly upgraded units, 3 out of 5 appliances malfunctioned or didn't work at all. (these were all Frigidaire Gallery products) When we asked for an exchange for appliances that actually worked, they launched us on a SIX MONTH long fight from hell that required over 200 emails, 8 technician visits and 4 appliance exchanges. On top of that we ended up having to take six days off work to do this to accommodate THEIR schedule. They scratched our floors twice and several of the delivery people were extremely rude and one even bullied my wife. Their "customer service" model is geared to give you sub-par products and then make the process of getting what you paid for as arduous and frustrating as possible, hoping you will give up. Countless delays were experienced while we waited for the minions that work in their "customer service" department to supposedly clear any action with the mysterious and invisible "upper management" group. The managers of these "procedures" as they liked to refer to them, never actually dealt with us directly or offered any explanation as to why they were ok with the notion of brand new appliances that needed repair before you used them once. The more than 200 emails is not an exaggeration. We couldn't use our oven for over 3 months, we had to do our laundry at the laundromat for 6 weeks and the fridge made noise that sometimes woke us in the night. The technicians they sent were on the whole useless and incompetent. We had 3 different parts on the dryer and stove replaced on BRAND NEW applainces and they never acknowledged the foolishness of having to get out of the box appliances repaired. Never buy at The Brick, DEFINITELY not appliances and for goodness sake, don't call them to repair your appliances. The first technician they sent to look at the dryer literally never opened his tool box. He looked at the dryer and declared the problem to be with our breaker panel without even opening the door or looking at the wiring. For this I had to take a day off work and of course he was 100% wrong. My condo manager replaced our breaker panel on this moron's assessment, yet more expense and time wasted due to laziness and not being qualified for the job. The time, cost, stress and frustration of trying to simply get what we paid for out of these people was by far the worst buying and customer service (not a usable term really with The Brick) we have ever experienced. We hope this review saves others from having to experience the same.

I went back to buy a washer and dryer. I was shown a few different kinds of washing machines. I didn't even know that there was a washer that had no spinny thin in the middle that was not a front loader
I purchased a top loader washer and dryer that is energy efficient.
I purchased the insurance because beside the fact that it's a good idea in case I need it if my appliances need fixing but the Brick will give you a store credit of you don't use it. so far I got 2 floor lamps.
We booked sofa on boxing day n haven't received since 4 months...and now they are insisting us to cancel order....we threw sofa after we bought..n I have elders in my family who can't sit on ground...we explained our situation but NO HELP..No ALTERNATIVE S... WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER.....
My leather love seat fell apart after 16 months. The leather cracked open even though I treated it. I went back to the Brick and they told me I should have bought the insurance. What happened? I paid $855.00 for a love seat for 16 months? I'm surprised that the Brick sold me something so cheaply made. I should have listened to my friends who told me The Brick is CRAP!
