Its been highly disappointing to say that the service I received from badboy is the worst experience I ever had in my life.
Just a month ago I bought my first home of my life and I was so excited to buy all the basic furniture I need in my new house. All my excitement went in pain and frustrating back and forth communication as majority of the item was received in bad condition.
Problem-1 In Sectional sofa one of the leg cannot be screwed because the threads are completely stripped.
Problem-2 In bedroom set, one of the door of headboard cannot be screwed because the threads are completely stripped.
Problem-3 In bedroom set, on right side of the bed the manufacturer broke the laminate and glued back in which is like literally visible.
So I emailed all this to service department at email@example.com. I waited for couple of days and still no reply then I went to Burlington store and met the manager to describe about it. He told me that firstname.lastname@example.org doesn't exist anymore its now email@example.com. I was like then why they didn't change it online. Funny and frustrating too. I kept myself calm and took manager's help to sort this problem. With the help of manager my complain was directed to the right person and they reached me next day.
For Problem-1 they booked a technician for me who is not able to come yet because his timing and my timing doesn't work. If I take off from work wasting my one day salary and tell him to come then my problem can be solved funny right loose $200 from work and fix the problem after spending so much money on buying it.
For Problem-2 Franca from service department helped me to get a replacement headboard after I had a back and forth of emails and calls. Seems like this problem was satisfactorily resolved. But nope, the delivery driver was arguing with my wife and fighting with my wife that "I have to first look the damage and if it is too much damage than only I will give the replacement headboard because it is painful for me to take the headboard from 3rd floor to truck and bring the new one in". He literally went into the bedroom to look for the damage. I mean who the hell he is to take that decision after it was all confirmed and approved by service department. He started fighting with my wife. Funny but super frustrating. Every time he came he behaved so badly that I was literally off.
For Problem-3 Franca told me to have the right side of the Bed replaced but I told her that I don't want to go through the process of replacement for right section of bed because its too heavy for the guys to bring in and out and when they delivered that first time they literally dropped on the floor so badly that everything underneath the ceiling was shaking crazily. So I asked franca if there is any other alternative and she told me she can provide me $100 gift certificate and I was ok as it is reasonable in comparison to the damage. So I replied her that I would like to go with $100 gift certificate and its been more than a week no progress yet. I did a follow up E-mail no reply yet. Super frustrating.
So yesterday I got the delivery of computer desk and the replacement headboard. The headboard seems to be ok with just few scratches and feels like its a used one. But the computer desk OHHH MY GOD! as soon as I open the box to assemble it first piece damage, ok a little damage hmmm I can work with it. After that I removed second piece trust me that was damaged too. After that one by one 3rd damage 4th damage 5th damage 6th damage, literally each and every part I got for computer desk is damaged. How can a company be like so careless about there product? I wonder if there is even a quality check procedure in this company or not. So after waiting for 2 weeks to get the computer desk I cannot use it because no one would even take this for free.
There are still small issues which we literally ignored because we understand that mistakes happen. The list of my small issues that I ignored are:
Issue-1 The delivery people damaged my stairs and some of the part is even broken. I also noticed a crack on one of the Stairs.
Issue-2 Coffee table its not leveling properly
Issue-3 The dining table after putting together its off located from one end.
Issue-4 Dresser, Mirror and bedroom set has visible scratches and looks like its been used by someone and given to me.
All this minor things I literally ignored. But now I cannot I feel its a big liability issue in using the Badboy furniture. I wonder if the glass on coffee table and dining table are actually tempered or just glass which can break anytime and result in injury. I wonder if the bedroom and sofa furniture is reliable or not what if one day someone is sitting and sleeping on it and it falls apart. it can result in serious injuries and life threatening too.
It is my humble request take all your furniture back and refund me everything I paid. I don't trust anything from Badboy and its too much dangerous too keep it in my home. My entire experience is so much painful that it took away all my happiness of having the first home of my life. I REPEAT I WANT EVERYTHING TO BE TAKEN AWAY AS IT IS DANGEROUS AND RISKY TO USE ALL THE FURNITURE AND I DONT TRUST ANYTHING ANYMORE. Someone referred me to badboy but I love all my family and friends and I cannot put there life in danger I will tell everyone I know that using Badboy's furniture is risking your life and the guest who come to visit you. PLEASE TAKE EVERYTHING BACK I CANNOT HANDLE IT ANYMORE. IT IS WASTE OF MONEY TIME AND HEALTH.
