After a heavy rain, I had a small leak develop from my bathroom ceiling - called five vendors to get quotes about re-shingling, and John from Avenue Road was the only one who actually went on the roof to investigate the source of the leak. He said the shingles were in good condition and only a repair was necessary. Shortly after, they sent Sang to do the repairs - while he was up there, he noticed some shoddy chimney flashing and said it would be worth fixing. Sure enough, John provided me with another quote and shortly after they sent Joe to do the work. All around, the service and craftsmanship were exceptional. Not to mention an honest root-cause investigation from the get-go. I hope to use them again when my shingles are ready to be replaced.

All the staff we dealt with were very professional, positive and upbeat - particularly Tyson who contracted the job a year in advance and then remained available until the work was completed to ensure that all of our concerns (real and imagined) were addressed. Clearly the staff at ARR are all confident that they will meet or exceed their customers' expectations. ARR removed two old roof coverings (low-sloped shingles and a layer of modified bitumen that ARR installed 25 years ago, in Sept. 1991) from the low-sloped roof on our 3 bedroom bungalow, recovered it with insulation and modified bitumen, installed two skylights, provided the interior carpentry work and re-installed our de-icing cables. We're delighted to be able to write this positive review and we have no qualms about recommending the company to others.

We have used your company for all our roofing needs since 1998 and will continue to do so. The shingles installed in 1998 are still going strong, no need for a new roof yet! But, this time we needed new gutters and to have some shingles replaced, not from wear and tear, but from racoons trying to get into our attic. They were unsuccessful by the way. Again, Avenue Road Roofing completed the job to our full satisfaction. When we reported a leak in the gutter after the work was complete, workers came back and made sure we were completely happy.

A number of years ago the shingles on our roof failed while they were still under warranty and had to be replaced. Kas Tobin and Joe Delsole, two supervisors at Avenue Road Roofing ,assisted me in dealing with the manufacturer of the shingles and getting the roof replaced. Once again the shingles are not holding up and I called Kas to come and inspect the roof. I knew that Kas would give me an honest appraisal of the state of my roof. As I suspected, the shingles which have a 35 year warranty, are failing. Kas and Joe have always been very responsive to my requests to deal with any roof related issues. I would highly recommend Avenue Road Roofing and in particular, Kas and Joe to assess any roofing problem and have the required work done in a timely and efficient manner. It has always been a pleasure to deal with them.

I had some eaves troughs falling off my roof. Got a quote for that, as well as for a potential soffit (sp?) upgrade. Was told that the eaves would be simple and felt no pressure to do the larger soffit job. The worker was professional, polite and quick. Everything went as planned and I hope to have them back soon to do the soffit venting.

Kas Tobin provided minor caulking repairs and expert advice that enabled us to extend the life of our skylights avoiding costly repairs. Always prompt in responding to inquiries and professional in their verbal and written appraisals, we have come to rely on their expertise and commitment to quality service. Quotes from other roofing companies have been slightly lower than Avenue Road Roofing however, for us, maintaining a relationship with a proven company is by far worth the extra cost for peace of mind.

We recently had our Roof and Eaves completely redone. Tyson gave us a comprehensive quote and Victor lead the team who did our Roof work. Both of them were excellent to work with, responsive and meticulous which we truly appreciated. The whole team did a fantastic job!
