Reliable Dryer Vent

I was looking on Homestars for top rated Dryer Vent replacement companies and I luckily reached out to Marc from Reliable Dryer Vents. Marc came by promptly to give me a thorough assesment and quotation of how to take care of a serious fire hazard due to the previous owner of my homes negligence. I had two dryers venting out of one exhaust which is a ‘fire waiting to happen’ as assesed by a furnace specialist that came by prior to Marc. He offered a very accurate solution, booked a time and date, showed up on time and did a very clean and neat job and cleaned up behind himself. I now have two seperate exhausts for my dryers and new ducts which is a huge relief. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FAIR PRICES!

Marc is an absolute legend, best customer service and personality you could ask for in a person. He took the time to fully understand my dryer vent situation, came to my house, worked on it for a while, and didn't charge me because he wasn't confident he had fixed the issue because of a strange quirk with my setup that was out of his control. I was very taken aback and insisted on at least covering some hourly payment for his efforts, but he insisted his policy is that if he doesn't fix the problem, he doesn't charge. He also made recommendations for a company that may be able to help.

All this being said, I'm sure he's more than capable of fixing 99.9% of more standard dryer vent situations and I'd highly recommend the guy. I don't think there's anything more satisfying than dealing with honest, friendly, hard-working people, I'd always willing to pay a premium for that, but his prices seem on par with everyone else, so that makes him a real gem.

Marc from Reliable Dryer Vent is very friendly and professional. He not only did a thorough job, he also explained to us what we can do so that we only need to clean the dryer vent every 2 years. Marc did a great job in both cleaning our dryer vent and in finding a replacement for our booster fan, which had been broken for several years. Marc was able to find a replacement for it, even though the manufacturer went out of business.
I would highly recommend Marc and Reliable Dryer Vent, in the 20 years since we've lived in this condo, he is the only one who has cleaned the dryer vent properly. We are planning on calling him again when our next cleaning is due. And the price is very reasonable, I wouldn't go to any other company for this service.

We needed not only our dryer vent cleaned but also the vent than ran from the attic & out to& from the roof. This required Marc to examine all aspects of our original installation which proved to be the wrong material (5" & plastic instead of 4" & metal) & exacerbated the amount of lint blockage, including where it vented from the roof. The vent itself was also the wrong product, with tiny slats. All this Marc cleaned & documented with pictures & on film.

Searching high and low for a company to clean my dryer vent, I spent several hours on the phone yesterday calling what seemed to be every company in Toronto to clean my dryer vent. The challenge was that my dryer vents through the roof - and every company I called refused the job, because it would involve a worker going onto the roof to clean the cap.

I decided to send the challenge out to the internet, and through the magic of HomeStars, Mark from Reliable Dryer Vent called me back (within just a couple hours of my post), and booked me for today! My house need a dryer vent cleaning. Mark returned my vm with timely manners. Able to schedule appointment next day. He arrived on time, provide recommendation and clean the vent within an hour.
