After reading reviews here and there, I decided to have Tom conduct a year end warranty inspection. What convinced me that he was the right guy was the fact that he was very patient. I first called Tom to obtain more information and he already showed that he was very knowledgeable and explained the process to me in detailed. He took the time to explain what is included as part of the inspection and set expectations right away. On the day of the inspection, he was on time and very open to questions. He explained his findings and provide suggestions on how to get them fixed or improved. He took pictures of the problems that required attention and the IR camera was a plus. He was also prompt in sending his initial report for review the same day. Reason why I provided 4 stars is that he did not get on the roof to conduct a roof inspection but rather did it from ground level. When I spoke to him, he assured me that he would try his best to get up there except if there was snow or rain. Although a little bit cold that day and merely some snow sitting on the roof, I felt that he could have gone up there. From ground level, it is difficult to see if the eavestrough are properly installed so that water does not sit in a corner but rather flows well to the gutter. I can tell from a second floor bed room that water sits in one of the corners. There were also some items which were not included in the initial report but Tom was kind enough to follow-up and amend the report. Otherwise, I am really happy with his inspection and would not hesitate to refer him to my friends and relatives.

I bought a dining set from this store and when I got home, decided to do a search on the store and came across the reviews on Homestars. Needless to say that I was in a state of shock. I returned to the store the following day asking Marlee to confirm date of delivery and that the table would indeed be delivered on the agreed date. Marlee assured us that it would. I was so relieved to see that my purchase was delivered promptly. I was lucky enough not to go through all the hassles of calling to follow up on delivery etc... however, based on the reviews posted to date, I will not be recommending this store to any relatives or friends.

Brent was amazing, I was hesitant about hiring an inspector for our 30 Day following closing day but I do not regret having Brent come over. He showed up before our agreed time. Right away he began working on the outside and was really patient, he took the time to really explain the findings, emphasized on the importance of having them fixed and even explained the proper way that these should be fixed just in case the builder tries to cut corners. He made sure he took pictures of all the problems and was prompt in sending them to us. With Brent's inspection, he identified leaks, cracks in walls that I was not aware of. Brent also assisted us in completing Tarion's 30 day form. I will definitely hire Brent for any future home inspection :)

We had Floorwood Solutions Inc. installed Vintage Cocoa in our Living/Dining room and it was great dealing with both Patricia and Robert. Patricia was really helpful and provided great advice. She took the time to answer all my questions by email and even provided us with sample pictures to assist us in making the right decision. As for Robert, words aren't enough to describe how amazing this guy is! On the day of the installation he showed up on time and what surprised me was the fact that he was the only one to do the job from start to finish. I did not have the chance to meet Darek but Robert was really professional and installation went smoothly. When he was done with the installation, he made sure everything was ok and also cleaned everything. Robert's professional work completely changed the look of our Living/Dining room and it's no surprise that we have received so many compliments from family and friends! I will definitely recommend Floorwood Solutions Inc. to anyone.
