Stan was here today to present me with a friendly proposal for natural stone steps and landings as well as landscaping. I have had more than a few quotes in the past year and his pricing is fair. He seems extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. When we are ready to proceed we will definitely use Stan and his team.

I've been wanting to review this company since they installed our front door in 2008 but years went by and I forgot their name until I found the bill tonight. Garage doors are ok but the front door which cost $12,500.00 was and still is a complete and utter nightmare. From the moment the pitiful installer came to fit the door all went downhill very quickly. Transom above door was installed crooked - see pic. I noticed this the moment he put it in but he said he wasn't able to fix it. He had installed it 5 minutes prior to my noticing. Never Ever. What? I paid a lot of money for a solid wood door and what we received was cheap VENEER. I didn't realize this until the film started peeling a few years ago and I could see what was underneath. Almost 8 years later and this very expensive extremely cheap quality door is a complete and utter mess. Hinges are also falling apart - see pic. There are many reputable door companies in the GTA but unfortunately this is not one of them. It's a family business and I dealt with Rob who was in sales. Personable guy - typical sales person. Makes a lot of promises and underdelivers at best. The greatest part of this experience was dealing with the father (patriarch of the business) screaming at me over the phone while the door was being installed because I was not at all happy with the installer. I think I had every right to complain considering... We had 4 people around the kitchen table at the time and they all heard the beast. I was told he was the best installer they had which said a lot. This abysmal installer sent me (the customer) to Home Hardware to buy him a few screws that he did not have for the door. What? I didn't know I was in the door installation business! I knew I was dealing with a highly inexperienced uneducated person at that point. For $18,500.00 customers deserve much better - period. I now have a door that looks like death and I can't stress how disappointed I am by this. This is a very shady business so please beware. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Lawn Cutting was beyond awful and Lawn Care not much better. I am now dealing with a dead grass situation due to the weed control they used. Aeration and overseed was missed in a particular area and nobody came back to finish. It's been a very frustrating experience to say the least. I have since hired a fantastic lawn cutting service for the same price and am very pleased. I would not recommend Lawn Troopers to anyone. 13/08/14 - Paid for their lawn care 10 step program and I haven't seen them in over a month. Very vague outline of treatments. Nothing in writing except for what is listed on their site. No timelines given. Are they even coming back is the question? June 18 2015 - just an update to let you know that I paid upfront for lawn treatments for the entire 2014 season and surprise nobody from Lawn Troopers came back but they did take my money! What I did receive was 3 calls a day from a collection agency for payment not rendered?? Whatever you do if you are so daft as to use these people do not prepay for anything. I mentioned to Matt that I would pay his phantom bill when hell freezes over. On another note I knew things wouldn't work out after I looked out of my window on their 4th cut and saw a female employee spitting in my flower bed. Gross. I fired them that afternoon.

Millenium picked up the bin and charged my husband's credit card. Yes it was simple however we have never received a bill or scale ticket. I have left numerous messages regarding getting a copy of the bill and scale ticket to no avail. My driveway was also badly damaged. I sent pictures of the damage to this company and have been ignored. Will have to go the small claims route if the damage is not addressed. In the meantime I would really appreciate a copy of the bill. I don't know many customers that would allow any company to freely charge their card without justification. I would not recommend Millenium to anyone. Update June 18th 2015 - no correspondence from them and nobody came back to fix. If you don't care what your driveway looks like after their rickety bins are removed by all means give them a call.
