I hired EcoComfort Insulation in March 2019 to insulate my about 1000 sq. ft. attic to R60 level. It was a pleasure to deal with the company at all stages of the process from getting a sales quote all the way to clean up of work site. Major advantages of working with this company were: 1. The price was $400 lower than the other reputable company in the area provided 2. All my demands and conditions were seriously discussed and either accepted, or I was convinced to do the work the way the company offered ( not “you don’t need it” or “sorry we don’t do it this way” attitude we unfortunately see so often these days) 3. Their appointment schedule was much more open than with the competitors. We managed to get an appointment the next week after we committed to the project. 4. Crew was on site on time, and it was easy to see that workers have a lot of experience. Also, they were trying make as little mess as possible and cleaned the site up after the work was done. The entire process of installation of rafter vents, air sealing, and cellulose installation took less than 3 hours. 5. I inspected the attic after installation of rafter vents and air sealing and was very pleased with high quality of work and attention to important details. 6. Payment was required after job completion and after my inspection and satisfaction Overall, I would highly recommend this company for your attic insulation and ventilation projects.

We purchased Caesarstone quartz countertop from Granito World in July 2017. First they won a bidding on our project on HomeStars both by price and conditions. After that we visited their shop and met Vik in person. Vik is one of the best sales reps I dealt with in a long time. He provides what I call no-BS customer service i.e. he tells you exactly what he can do for you, explains why and what options he can offer, and after you agree, he does exactly what he promised with no surprised, delays, or hidden fees. Installers are also great hardworking people. I have to say that my wife and I are very picky ( some people may use a word "crazy" ) about perfect fit, conditions, and precise position of the installed product, and sometimes that makes it pretty difficult for us to work with installers that like to cut the corners, do the job as fast as possible, and who "have exactly the same problem at my house and stopped paying attention to it long time ago" :) . I'm VERY glad to say that it was NOT the case at all with Granito World: Installers went above and beyond and spent pretty significant amount or extra time to make sure we were completely satisfied with their work when they left. Overall, I would like to say thank you to the whole team of A Granito World for the great job and excellent customer service on all levels. I hope to work with you guys again if we decide to change our bathroom countertops too. Hope we did not scare you and you would not mind to work with us again either ;)

Wolfe of Peace Love and Landscaping (PLL) designed and built our driveway, walkway, and porch overlay in May-July 2013. He also designed overall landscaping including plants. Wolfe is an amazing professional who really loves his job and is passionate about it. He did very good job with his team for us. Our driveway is turning heads and we keep giving people PLL contact info. Wolfe is also a pleasure to deal with and unlike many other people he is willing to honor his warranties and provide free post-install support. However, PLL was one of the most expensive contractors who bid on our project. When we tell our friends how much did we paid PLL, they are saying we were crazy and had too much money. On the other hand, we paid exactly as much as agreed, there were no hidden costs or other surprises. If nothing changes, we are planning to work with PLL next year on our side and back yards. So, if you want to give a call to PLL to bid on your project, it’s probably a good idea, but be aware that it probably will be more expensive than you think ;-) Good luck, Alex & Tanya

Tony Monaco of Monaco Metals did incredible job for us. Tony designed, built and installed a 20 ‘ custom made wrought iron fence with a gate that exceeded our expectations. We tried to work with many other custom fence companies including ones that have hundreds of positive ratings on Homestars, but none of them got even close to Tony in terms of price and quality of work. Here are some specifics why we liked working with Monaco Metals: 1. We always ask for references – two sites in a 5 minute drive area were provided immediately. 2. Measurement on our side were taken at least 4 times which led to precise manufacturing and perfect installation 3. Tony was working patiently with our proposed design. He understood and kept what’s important and enhanced or changed countless details. 4. The whole project was delivered right on time and the budget. We love our new fence and can highly recommend Tony and his company to everyone. Alex & Tanya from Oakville

I hired the business to do fall fertilizing and overseeding at the end of October 2010. I've paid money upfront as a business owner asked. Overseeding was done the next day, however I found a quality of the job very low for many reasons. Fertilizing has never been done, even if the business promised to come and do the job at least 5 times. Now the business owner stopped returning my calls. I would not recommend this business to anyone. If for any reason you still want to work with them for Gods sake don't pay them a penny upfront.
