Three windows, one door ordered March 26, 2018. Installed July 4, 2018 by three excellent installers on an extremely hot and humid day. Morning after installation telephoned Award about marks on the glass and poorly applied caulking. Award agreed to replace our transom window and repair the caulking all under warranty. The transom window was replaced on November 26, 2018 but the sizing was incorrect. As of today, July 13, 2019, we continue to patiently wait for an admitted warranty problem to be completed. A written warranty and the completion of a warranty issue can be very different. Be diligent in the selection of a window and door company!!! UPDATE--I probably was not patient enough and incorrectly did not believe that the warranty replacement window would be installed. The new window was installed today, Sept. 9 and we are extremely satisfied. Thank you Award Windows for making me a believer in your warranty! Dave Wright, Ancaster

Thank you for submitting a review. We find it regretful that you have decided to post a negative review regarding warranty work that is in progress. At Award Windows, we have and continue to stand behind our product and we are consistently meeting and exceeding our customers expectations. In this case, the 1st glass unit that was installed with the original door did meet industry standards(mark inside glass must be seen standing 5 feet away), however since it did not meet your standards as the customer, we replaced it. The 2nd unit was unfortunately not "perfect" and the 3rd unit broke in transit on the way to change the glass for you. We do have the 4th glass unit in and we are ready to install it. We continue to stand behind out product, as we have done so in this case by making the glass 4 times. We look forward to completing the glass request and applying a new bead of interior latex for you.
