I ordered my appliances on April 6. I was told all but one appliance (the range) was in stock and that it should be in the next week. I waited two weeks and no one called. When I telephoned to inquire, I was told that the range would be in the next day. I heard this every day for two weeks. The staff were rude, unapologetic, and unhelpful. It turned out that they ordered an item that was discontinued (the staff member entered a number wrong in the system) - again, no apology. Then, they reordered the range and told me it would not be in until end of May. When I made a fuss, they said it would arrive in two days. Never a consistent message. Every time I called, I was passed back and forth between three different departments. The delivery/installation people could not install the washer and dryer because of the state of my renovation and wrote on the invoice "should get refund on installation". WHen I called to ask for this, I was passed between departments and eventually given an answering machine to which I left a message. That was eight days ago and I have sti;ll not received a call back. I will never EVER, EVER purchase anything from this company again.

I will do an investigation on to how/why the wrong product had been ordered. With hundreds of appliances ordered daily, on occasion some products are back ordered which is beyond our control. Regarding the installation, we do give a full refund if we could not install for whatever reason. I can't confirm that we have done so already being that I don't know your order number. Please phone our 'order status' department at 416-782-5900 (#2 for order status) between 10:00am-5:00pm with your order number to verify that your charges have been refunded. We purchased our black walnut hardwood from Value Wood Floors based on the reviews I read on Homestars. Not only was the product we purchased gorgeous (our installer told me it was the most beautiful floor he has ever installed), but the customer service was excellent. Peter, the salesperson with whom we dealt, was knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely return as we do more floors in the house.

We hired Mr Roofer when a leak in our ceiling occurred. They were prompt, diligent, cheaper than the other quote we got, and did a great job. I loved seeing digital pictures of the problem, and the work completed. Overall, we were very impressed!
