My dishwasher was making lots of loud noises plus it was shutting off mid cycle and just starting when it wanted. I knew it was the motor but wanted an estimate for repair on my Kitchen Aid dishwasher that was 8 years old. The unit needed a new wash motor that would have cost almost $600. We opted to just buy another dishwasher. Service was on time (they actually fit me in on a busy day), and friendly. In the future, I will be calling them for all my appliance issues.

I wanted an inspection of both of my three sided fireplaces to make sure they were working properly and that there were no gas issues. He did a check on the connections and the sensors. Joel was on time, efficient , courteous and I paid exactly what I was quoted. I will have the company come back in the future to do more work on my fireplaces. We had several quotes to upgrade the heat in our finished basement including $7000 for 5 base board heaters ( which would have totally ripped up our walls) and a $4850 quote for a heat pump (which I understand don't work in Calgary) . GI Joe's quote of $1080 was a welcome surprise. Lee from GI Joe Heating came to our home and assessed the situation. He discovered what we really needed were cold air returns and heat vents. He said our two furnaces were adequate to heat our home with the installation of the vents. The previous owners had finished the basement but did not put the appropriate vents in. Within a few days, Josh and his apprentice installed the air returns/heat vents without damaging our newly refinished ceilings. Josh also installed a fan on our fireplace and now our furnaces and fireplace are working properly to heat our basement. We appreciated the professionalism and price from this team to help us with our issue and would have no problem recommending GI Joe Heating Inc. In fact, we already did. We intend to contact them for future furnace issues.
