Gancy was prompt and courteous. Punctual as well, arrived on time within the 1-hour slot we had agreed upon. Went through the entire perimeter of the house plugging any potential entry points with steel-wool while explaining what he was looking for. He was thorough in his trade and was comfortable enough to share the knowledge he had. Easy to talk to and friendly. I asked about an annual plan where he would show up and spray for spiders, centipedes, etc. he was honest and said "don't waste your money". You only need to do that if you see 2 or more of these bugs within a 24-hour period. I appreciated his honesty and it showed me that he wasn't in it just to make a quick buck. He installed several black boxes in vulnerable areas like garage, laundry room, behind stove, under sink, furnace room, cold cellar. And threw several pouches of chemicals in other, harder to reach areas like behind duct-work, etc. I will definitely use him for all my future needs (hopefully not too many).

Right from the start with Paul coming over to give us an estimate to the finish, the company and it's employees, have been nothing short of professional and timely! I don't know about everyone else but lately it has become harder and harder to find contractors/ tradesmen that take pride in their work and believe in doing the job right the first time. Thanks to HomeStars for setting up this website and giving us access to testimonials from people like you and me which helps us finding the right people for the right job. End of May 2015, we got Paul to give us a visit and an estimate. I also got estimates from a few other companies and Paul's quote was very comparable, on top of that a 9.8/10 rating on Homestars made me choose Pro-Loc over the rest. We signed the contract and were told the work would begin on June 15 weather-permitting. June 16, Alex and his crew arrived nice and early and by the end of that day, had excavated the site and filled it in with gravel... I was shocked at the speed these guys were working but they were nothing short of a well-oiled machine. They brought all kinds of machinery to aid in speeding up this, otherwise long process. They were even nice enough to lay down sheets of plywood to avoid killing the turf under. I'm glad they did as the machines did a number on the grass (in the area they were excavating). June 17 was a day off as they wanted to let the gravel settle before doing the install. June 18 Bill and his crew arrived around 7 AM and started the install... again, these guys were all done by around 6 PM. The interlock was complete in the front and back, including 3 steps in the back, just the front 2 steps and filling in the entire job with Polymeric sand was left for the following day. June 19 Bill and his crew arrived around 6:30 and started the work and were all done by 11 AM!! All in all, great service, courteous and professional service. I couldn't ask for anything more. I just wish more contractors and tradespersons were as good and courteous as the Pro-Loc team! Thanks for converting our front and backyards to a wonderful space for relaxing and enjoying with our friends and family!!

Look nowhere else and sign up with Pro-Loc. It will be the best decision you will make.

Coldest day of the season (Feb 13, 2015) and the funace decides to not work as it should. Thermostat set to 22 degrees, won't go over 19 degrees while it shows heat on, no heat is in fact coming out. I called Reliance Home Comfort around 4:50 PM and was delighted to hear that a service person would be able to come by before 8 PM the same night!!! That was unheard of, especially when it was so cold outside. The service person called and said he will be over in 25 minutes and showed up at my door at 5:54 PM... 1 HOUR FROM WHEN I CALLED!! I felt like give him a hug but just stuck to thanking him for showing up within an hour. He took his time and kept explaining me what he was doing. I had my valve replaced just in October and had a feeling it won't be the same problem again and was hoping it was nothing big. The furnace is only 12 years old so I didn't really think there was a chance that it would be condemned. Anyway, after spending a good 90 minutes on it, it turned out to be gunk stuck in one of the small hoses which drains the water out of the spinny unit... not sure what it's called. Meanwhile, he did other tests like poking a hole in the duct work and used his probe-camera to go in and make sure the furnace was okay... all was well and it has been working great all night! I'm so glad I signed up for the Heating & Cooling Protection Plan, the visit in October would've costed my at least 500 bucks and the one last night would've been around 200 so I'm laughing. Thank you Reliance and thank you Gabriel!
