I called Stack after reading the excellent reviews here on HomeStars and was not disappointed! They arrived sooner than expected (who does that?) and resolved the problem with outdoor wiring that wasn't disconnected properly by landscapers and was shorting out. I was expecting this to be a bigger, more expensive job. However, the technicians were extremely efficient and knowledgeable, taking less than an hour to both diagnose and fix the issue, as well as installing a new switch. I will definitely recommend Stack to friends and will call them again in the future. Their high rating on HomeStars is well deserved!

Last week I booked Reliance to service our rented water heater on their website. Received an e-mail confirming the appointment between 2-5pm. Waited around until 6pm and no contractor showed up. When I called Reliance service they couldn't get a hold of the contractor but told me they left a message and would call me back with a revised ETA. No callback, no service. I called Reliance 2 more times that night with no luck. They even promised me they'd get a manager to call me, but I didn't hear from them that night. The following day I called Reliance service for the fourth time and was able to book the service call again. I also asked them to have a manager call me to explain what happened the first time and how they planned to compensate us for the time we wasted waiting around for them and for going without hot water for an extra couple of days. The water heater eventually got fixed, but we're still waiting for a call back on the unbelievably awful service we received from Reliance. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend Reliance and will be buying a water heater to be rid of them for good! We also have a monthly service contract on our A/C and Furnace that we'll be cancelling right away.

Had to call B.C. Roy when the original contractor didn't show up to do the installation of a gas line and stove. We were very happy that they were able to take on the project on such short notice and very happy with the results. They were able to install everything quickly and did quality work. On top of this, they were very easy to talk to, explained everything involved and charged a reasonable price. Great experience!
