A family member recommended Lisa and Kio and I am extremely grateful that they did. After having undergone extensive renovations to my house, it was so refreshing to meet Lisa and Kio who were prompt, reliable, professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable, including their installer, Hy. I appreciated their patience in helping me find the perfect fabric and pattern for my home. We ordered drapes for bow window in our living room, smaller dining room window, two kitchen windows and also roller blinds for all basement windows and a lovely skirt for our laundry tub (see photos attached). I chose a black-out drape for my bedroom and at first I had thought I made a mistake because I was not used to it (it did what it was supposed to do, after all -- the room was pitch black!) but I can now attest that it was not a mistake and am loving it! I have more restful sleep because all the light is blocked out and it even reduces the noise level from outside--an added bonus. If I want more light, I just simply open the drape a little bit. We're just waiting on a couple of tie-backs for some of the windows and I'm sure they will arrive in no time! Overall, I am happy with the quality of service and quality of the product. The only thing I would change is to have a stainless steel pull chain rather than the plastic ones for the roller blinds in the basement. I would definitely recommend Lisa and Kio for your next window covering project.

I recently renovated my kitchen only to find out (after damaging it) that the marble floor was unsealed (scratches and acid marks from tomato juice). I thought it was ruined forever. I contemplated sealing it myself when I realized it was more than I could handle. Rather than ruin it some more, I called a professional. I found Ramiro of TiGro on Homestars and based on his great reviews I decided to give him a call. He lived up to his excellent reviews--and more! Ramiro came out the same day to see the floor and said he could fix it and restore it. He came out 2-1/2 weeks later. I'm happy to report that it turned out so much better than I had anticipated--it's even better than the original! I would not hesitate to recommend Ramiro and his team. Well worth the money.

Don't try to fix an expensive damaged floor yourself. Call a professional like Ramiro; you will not regret it!

I found Joe by searching on HomeStars and let me tell you that he definitely lives up to his good reputation. He is prompt, professional, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He was able to fix my blocked freezer drain in no time, and without me having to remove everything from the freezer! I would definitely call him back for other appliance repairs! I am no longer dreading the "who-to-call" moment when something breaks down. I highly recommend him.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Everything went well, from the initial contact to the actual service call. I honestly cannot find one thing for improvement.

Do a little bit of research online so you have an idea of the nature of your problem, that way you are less likely to be taken advantage of.

I had the eavestroughs replaced last year by another company (I did not know that Walker's did eavestrough too-I do now!) and overall it was a very bad experience--they started leaking instantly because they were not installed properly in the first place. I called Walkers to do the repair and I'm very happy to report that there is no more leaking. Next time I will call Walkers first! you did a great job in 2009 with our roof. I should have known better not to go anywhere else but Walker's. I've learned my lesson. Lower prices are not worth the problems you will face down the road.
