I found TQF by chance - they were around the corner from Alexanian Carpets and Flooring near Dufferin / Finch. Alexanian did not have the range of pure wool carpet I was looking for and I found TQF through a Google search. My friend convinced me to go in (the bars on the windows were a deterrant) and although TQF's showroom is small, their range is large. Massood (owner) is very knowledgeable about his products and very happy to educate his customers, to ensure they make the best decisions for their projects. TQF replaced nearly all the flooring in my condo and were very patient with my detail oriented requests (design, detail and documentation related). TQF's installers were fastidious in their attention to detail and minor concerns I raised with Massood were attended to the next day the installers were at my condo. The end result is amazing and transformative. TQF even installed the trim to finish the project and not the standard quarter round moulding (Massood recommended shoe moulding - TQF has a large range for you to choose from). TQF were even able to source my hardwood selection five weeks earlier than a competitor could. I recommend that you shop around first and then visit TQF - the price was reasonable, my questions were answered and I was very comfortable dealing with them. I know now why TQF have been in business for 30 years and never advertised! Highly recommended.

Amazing quality product ($1,829) and the most impressive installation service - professional, courteous, removed hard rubbish and left my place spotless. Well worth the $250 installation fee and the product itself surpassed my expectations. I love my Miele!!!

Approximate cost of services:
$2,080.00
What could this company do to improve their services?
Nothing. This is the most impressive installation team (next to my father of course!) I have ever experienced. Continuing the tradition of excellent value for money installations (I previously had Miele install / set-up my stacked washer and dryer five years ago).
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Don't cheap out on installation - allow the professionals from the manufacturer to do the work and ensure their product is optimised for your use. Miele even advised a small Code issue that I was able to rectify (easily), that wasn't even their responsibility. Phenomenal service you can trust.

Berkeley (owner) provides professional and comforting advice when you are choosing an upholsterer for beloved furniture. A master craftsman, his leather work on my chairs is amazing and reasonably priced.

Approximate cost of services:
$1,300.00
What could this company do to improve their services?
Nothing - Berkeley is the consummate professional and I look forward to projects to use him for in the future.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Always go beyond the website. Ask questions about the upholsterer's experience (Berkeley has 40 years), the quality of the leather being used (top grain, split grain, bonded; waterproof (I was surprised not all leather is); the quantity needed (this varied tremendously between quotes) and visit the shop for examples of work done, where possible. Ask for delivery costs as well - this is usually not included in the cost of the service.

(This review should be a zero, but HomeStars' system does not a rank that low!!!) I have heard from reliable sources this weekend that Yarrabee has declared bankruptcy. This would tie in with my inability unable to contact Yarrabee since 21 August 2008, merely days after putting down a deposit on a countertop (yes, I e-mailed, phoned (everyone in the office and left voicemails which went unreturned) and even visited the office (which was 'Closed for Inventory')). If you have placed a deposit on a countertop - my recommendation to you is either stop the cheque or contact your credit card company to dispute the charge. It's a pity that a company with such a great reputation on here could do this to their customers without any notice.

$2,100.00
