Excellent service, very professional staff. I was very happy with the service I received. Not only did they carry my tv into the shop they were very professional. To my surprise I was able to get service right away and picked up my tv within hours. Very good service I will be back.
I purchased a DISH satellite system three months ago. The installation was not done properly. I contacted the retailer, who had initially told me that service would be available 24/7. They referred me to DISH. So, I contacted DISH and was told that they are not responsible for making sure that their systems work. They also claim that they are not responsible for anything that the retailers says or does. However they continue to bill me even though the system still doesn't work properly, not professional at all.
I recently had a very positive experience with TEC furniture. I was searching for the sofa table that matches my existing set, but the store at which I'd originally bought the set no longer carried that manufacturer. An internet search lead me to Jim K at TEC Furniture in Westland. Jim was eager to track down my table, staying in communication with me during the entire process. He was able to locate it, placed my special order, and was extremely professional and polite. He even offered to have the table sent to a store location closer to my home, so I didn't have to make the 1-hour drive back to Westland. My table arrived within the promised timeframe, and in perfect condition. The employees at the Southfield store, where I picked up my table, were very helpful and polite. A floor salesman even helped load the table into my vehicle, even though I'd arrived on a "non pick-up" day. I'd highly recommend this store to any shopper on a budget, except it went out of business now.
This store is a great store. It meets all of your fabric and arts and crafts needs. I found a great deal of different types of fabrics that I had not seen in any other fabric stores. The sales associates were friendly and very helpful in assisting me with details on the fabric I was looking for. I also received a number of home decor ideas from just entering the store. Home Depot has no clue what they are doing! The store blames the installation service, the installation service blames the store. The woman in charge of flooring installations at the store doesn't know anything about hardwood floors. After one quote being wrong by $800, the installers came to work on the floor, they were going to need an additional $2000 ( on top of $4300). This is for less than 420 square feet with plywood underneath. It was an engineered birch floor.
