I took my older tv in to be fixed. I was displeased with the general atmosphere which was filled with cigarette smoke. They did however fix my tv for what they quoted and helped me load it up when it was ready. I think they did charge too much though and I didn't care for how I was spoken to by the owner at times. Not many options around here though. I hope I don't need to go back.

Last year I was shopping for baby gear and I happened upon a really cute white modern changing table that even came with baskets. I bought it and have been very pleased. Ot was on sale but I liked it better than the others which were overpriced for sure. You never know what you'll find there, so it's always worth a look. Owner is super super nice!

Elements is one of my favorite storres. I go shopping there with my mom often for smaller things like glassware,jewelry and other accent pieces. Last year I saw a chair that I had to have. I stalked it for a few months and finally bought it. It was pricey for me-around a thousand dollars and I was worried how it might stand up to kids. However it still looks as good as new and I love it as much as ever. Top top quality. Elements has very lovely modern ecletctic that do indeed stand the test of time-and kids.

I went in to look at tvs with my Dad for a gift for my mom. We had a guy help us who was so nice. Patient, very helpful and not overbearing. We ended up buying a 32" Toshiba for $400 which is what the 27" we went in intending to buy cost. He just gave it to us for that price. I was impressed and will go back again.

Longs Landing is this huge barn like building stuffed full of furniture. They have a everchanging selection and carry both new and used pieces. I bought a gently used sectional that was priced at $550 and I asked the owner if he would take less...amazingly hetook $400 and threw in free delivery. Great service!

I have been very pleased with Sears and Sons Waste Removal. They are very reasonably priced and don't mind if you put out ea few extra bags or boxes. Much better deal than City pickup. The only part that's priced a bit high is the charge to pick up a large item. I wanted to have a mattress and boxspring hauled off and they would have charged $20 which I thought was high compared to the $14 a month charge.

UO makes beautiful comforters, just like their sister company Anthropologie. I have used several from both companies over the years and always been pleased until the last one. It had dry clean only on the tag, but when i did it fell apart. Urban said they would replace but refused to do so when I brought it in. Not only that, they let me spend an hour picking out a new one and only told me no when I cam back up to the counter where they offered me a discount on the new one. I even contacted the District Manager, who apologized, promised to send me a giftcard, but never did. Nor did she ever return any of my following emails or phone calls. So a big buyer beware here, but only if the product is defective.
