My goal was to improve airflow & comfort in areas furthest away from the furnace; I had already taken several steps, (e.g.,new HVAC, windows, insulation, duct cleaning, etc) to achieve this and sealing the ducts was the last step. I researched the process and felt confident it would help; in the end, there was improvement throughout and I am happy with the results. Thanks Victor

Disable the smoke alarm; when the process begins, there is a fine mist that may trigger the alarm. The mist is non-toxic and dissipates quickly; there is no residual dust, etc.

Needed ducts cleaned after a couple of renos and before I have them sealed. Mark & Marlon did the job (both were polite and professional) and I could hear the stuff being sucked away; Mark showed me a couple of pictures of debris in there. There was an improvement in airflow in some parts of the house. Overall, I am pleased with work done.

I sought 3 quotes (to replace 13 yr old HVAC system) from 3 companies that were all highly rated, had a good suite of product offerings and had a reputation for quality installation and service. I did a lot of research on all 3 companies, which had the products I was interested in. In the end, I chose Spring Home as George pointed out a couple of existing deficiencies with a recent hot water tank installation we had done a few weeks ago. They fixed these and I thought exceeded my expectations. The installers, Tiger and Ricky, did a very good job, kept me posted throughout the process and left the place as they found it. The thermostat I ordered was unavailable but George called as soon as he found out to let me know a few days before the job started. The team will be back out in May when it's shipped. I'm glad I did all the research and I'm happy with the installation and product. I look forward to getting my new thermostat in the coming weeks. Thanks to the Spring Home folks!

Do your research; there's a lot of information out there. on products and installers. Energy and Natural resources Canada have a lot of info on furnaces, A/Cs and related equipment.
