Sterling is a very nice and cooperative person. He accommodated to our requests for scheduling changes even if we also wanted to complete this project at the earliest possible.
The project was about replacing the kitchen doors and repainting the boxes, replacing the countertop and backsplash as well as upgrading the lighting.
Although my considered budget went up 25 % about my original top cost, I know that things are more expensive now and having had the quartz countertop and backsplash installed was also a great addition.

Why not 10 out of 10 for the company rating? Although I think things happen and cannot be perfect, at times I found that some things could have been done better, such as when working on the boxes and the door installation. I would probably have had someone who can portray more professionalism when doing this job. My opinion.
All in all, I am very satisfied with the company's work and that's why I would definitely recommend.

Home renovation can be frustrating if we don't have the right people, we made this mistake in the past. This wasn't the case when my wife and I hired "Arkhitekton Building Solutions" to renovate our kitchen and remove the carpet on the upper level + install hardwood flooring. Sterling and his crew had the knowledge, provide recommendations and give us the options where to obtain materials at discounted prices. They removed the ceramic tiles from the kitchen, laundry/powder room and foyer and were replaced with our choice of porcelain 24x24 tiles with flushmount vents, they removed lower kitchen cabinets, new quartz counter tops and backsplash were installed, from removing appliances and reinstalling them were all handled with precision. Hardwood floors + flushmount vents were done to perfection. Can't wait for our next project i.e. master bedroom ensuite bath. Quality workmanship, maintain their timelines and reasonable prices. We will highly recommend Sterling and his team.

This integrity persisted throughout, as we navigated scope changes due to unknown site conditions, permit re-work, differences of design opinion, and our own anxieties during the year-long building effort. Throughout it all, ABS remained solid, professional and reassuring from the home-owner perspective, an efficient resource and people manager from the sub trade perspective, and a thoughtful, collaborative and influential partner to our design team, even as they remained forward-looking to keep our project on pace to the finish line.

Our home - the finished product is nothing short of magnificent. ABS somehow breathed new life, straight lines and 90-degree angles into the formerly sagging bones of our 120 year old home. Thank you, Sterling and the ABS team!

Sterling and his team were professional, communicative, and very responsive throughout the entire process of the renovation, and did truly beautiful work. Even when the initial demo revealed some surprises (it always does), Sterling was candid and straightforward about the options and their costs. Overall, a terrific experience working with him and I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.
