He showed up to the property I was going to put a firm offer on a very short notice on Saturday afternoon and he was truly a big help for me and saved me thousands of dollars and plenty of headaches! - on home fixes that could easily go unseen to the untrained eye. I am in process of buying a condo and after seeing 25-30 options and looking at listed prices felt awkward re. potential hidden defects. To make a justifiable counter-offer I decided to call the inspectors recommended by friends. I was verbally shocked with the tools used during the inspection - those reminded me futuristic science fiction movies with laser pointers and infrared screens that measured humidity, temperature, voltage, airflow, etc. It was a condo and the work took just under 90 minutes. As a result I knew all the weak (and strong) points of the residence as well as how to use and maintain various equipment. In just several hours I received full official report with the outcome supported by pictures and useful links. Needless to say, I used it to drop the listing price by $30k. Real value for money!
