We purchased our property 5 years ago. It's an old house but the seller did a great job with the renovation so we were without any issues. Our neighbors started commenting on our shingles needing replacement so I shopped around and got some estimates and opinions. Daniel from DC Avalon was working on a new build down the street when I contacted him to get a quote. He seemed honest and not sleazy (what a breath of fresh air) so I went with his company despite another slightly lower quote from a referral.

Daniel was prompt and professional in his communications leading up to the day of job. They were able to complete the work in under seven hours and the crew was respectful and professional. The new roof looks great and he even threw in a few aesthetics improvement for free.

Overall, very happy with the job, and I've already referred him to a neighbor and my BIL!

Daniel and his team did an excellent job of re-shingling my roof. They gave a very reasonable and fair quote and there were no surprises on completion of the work. They provided timely service, showing up early in the morning and completing the work by the same evening. The Dc Avalon team was professional, trustworthy, organized and knowledgeable and worked very well together. They enjoyed their work and that was reflected in the level of care they delivered and the quality of their product. The area around the house was left cleared of all debris. Shingles replaced on roof. Some of the plywood had to be changed. Daniel and crew did quality work and are professional to deal with.
