Requested a quote to repair our electric range. we opened the stove ourselves to figure out was was wrong and found a burnt blown female disconnect terminal for our primary heating element and a scorched male terminal. When the technician arrived, he was condescending to my wife insisting that she didn't know what she was talking about and didn't even bother to open up the stove to look for himself. Then proceeded to quote us an exorbitant amount of money for 2 technicians to replace the whole element almost at the cost of a new appliance.

Will not ever be contacting this service provider again

The refrigerator broke down in the middle of the night and I had to call Capital Appliance Repair in the morning. The company representative gave me a rundown of the process over the phone as well as the service cost for the visit. She was able to arrange the visit that afternoon. The repairman turned upon time, and was able to explain and fix the problem. He was friendly and helpful. Kudos.

Woke up Saturday morning to find that my fridge was not working (although the freezer was fine). I called Capital Appliance Repair at 10 a.m., and someone was at my house that afternoon. The problem was diagnosed within minutes, parts were ordered, and a follow-up appointment booked for early the next week. All in all, great service delivered quickly and professionally.

Our washer stopped emptying the water from the drum. Repair person able to come within 24 hours. We were aware of the cost in advance. He explored 2 options but realized that the washer is too old for repair at this time (27 years old)! We had the switch repaired in 2017 by same company! Feel like we got a bonus 2.5 years out of our washer! Efficient and thorough service:)

I don’t give 5 Stars easily or often but will give 5 Stars when it is due as it is here. My online request for service was followed up the same day with a phone call from the Dispatcher to discuss my issue and book a service appointment. Rony arrived promptly on the day and time of the appointment (wearing a good mask and gloves given Covid 19). VERY impressed by Rony: he was courteous, very interested in the problem I was having and knowledgeable and informative about potential issues that he would explore. Rony worked quickly to test out my machine and target the issue and the repair that was needed. Rather than feeling like I didn’t have a clue, Rony treated me with courtesy and respect and kept me informed all along the way. What really impressed me was his knowledge and sincere interest in solving my issue and fixing my appliance. I was left feeling that I had received honesty and value for money from this company and I will not hesitate to call them again.

Our fridge completely stopped working in the middle of covid restrictions. Within 24 hours someone was sent over.

Pavlo was amazing. He defrosted our freezer which was causing the fridge not to work and ordered a new part for us and came back when the part was it to make a permanent fix. He saved all of our groceries.

We will always use this company from now on because of him. He was quick, efficient but also very friendly and informative.

Very satisfied with repair of refrigerator. Repairman arrived on time and complied to COVID protocols by wearing a mask (as was I). He was also able to quickly clean a clogged drain and remove a lot of ice. Repairman sent me an invoice via email so that I could call in my credit information thereby maintaining distancing protocols.

Happy to have my fridge working properly.

$170 for 20 minutes seems excessive. I was told by the office when I booked, that the estimate of total cost would be $70 no matter what which would be deducted from total price of fixing a dishwasher that would not drain if I went ahead. But I was not given an estimate of total price before the job was finished and for 20 minutes of excellent work (done well and to my satisfaction) it was $170 plus tax (which was reduced to $ $169.50 including tax when I complained that it seemed too high). This amounts to $450 per hour! I was never informed that the cost would be this much or what it would be until the job was finished. There needs to be better communication about what a good job will cost if the hourly rate is going to be so high.

Excellent response (on a long weekend). Phoned in the AM, technician arrived mid afternoon, spent 40 minutes with our 30-year old washer and got it up and running with a temporary fix, with the permanent solution to follow later this week.

No water coming into dishwasher. They sent repairman early afternoon. He gave us the price for the best case and worse case scenario. Both reasonable considering price of the dishwasher. He was finish but something bothered him and he didnt leave until he was completely satisfied that it was repaired.
