On Wednesday morning, our furnace conked out. By Wednesday afternoon, our house was frigid. My wife did her research and found Boss Mechanical, Inc., and within a couple of hours, Joe arrived. He immediately grasped the urgency of the situation and was very sympathetic to our needs. After quickly diagnosing the problem, he presented us with our best options. Our biggest fear had come true, that we needed a new furnace. But a quick phone conversation with company co-owner Carmine alleviated our anxieties. His kind, calming demeanour truly helped us during this stressful time. He answered all of our many questions and gave us a great price for a new furnace. He said someone would come on Friday morning to install the replacement, and that installation would likely take the better part of the day. On Friday morning, Mike T and Aladin arrived around 8:30 and got to work immediately. They quickly swapped out the old unit for the new one and began the connection process. Once finished, they cleaned up what little mess they’d made and gathered their tools. They were done before noon. When they left, they took the old unit with them.

If ever we need a new furnace (hopefully not!) or have any other HVAC needs, we will definitely turn to Boss Mechanical. Their customer service is next to none. From Carmine, Joe, Mike T and Aladin, to Tiphanee at the main phone line, Boss treated us like valued customers. Thank you, Boss, for making our furnace crisis a relatively painless one!

Our heat went out on one of the coldest weeks of the year. We called BOSS Mechanical and they had someone out there within 2 hours. They fixed it, showed us exactly what was wrong and how it was fixed. They also looked at the overall furnace and took the time to explain certain parts that may need repair/replacing in the future as it's an older furnace. Something that we needed to consider soon. They were prompt, courteous and professional and they got the job done!

I contacted Boss Mechanical to come take a look at my leaking furnace (not installed by them). I e-mailed them last night, they got back to me this morning and had someone at my house within 30 minutes! One of the few contractors I've had that gave me an accurate time of arrival.

The issue was quickly diagnosed and fixed at a very reasonable cost. I will be using Boss Mechanical again!

I've had so many bad experiences with contractors and service companies in the past its nice to see that some companies are doing it right!

Great service. Carmine was very down to earth and suggested the best solution for my old East York home. I was impressed that he wanted to come back twice to make sure the job was quoted properly after we changed some specs.

Crew was polite and cleaned up after the job was done. They even came back on short notice on a Friday evening to fix a minor issue. The ladies who answered the phone (Vanessa and Tiphanee) made all the difference when organizing dates and quotes. I would definitely recommend this company for any heating and cooling.

This is the best experience I've ever had with any type of contractor. After a previous contractor botched the installation of a new furnace, and refused to take responsibility, I reached out to Boss for help. Carmine (Owner/Operator) came out the next day, skillfully assessed the issues, and had everything corrected very quickly. He was friendly, professional and honest. I can't praise Carmine enough for the level of service he provided.

Needed to have my AC Unit replaced and the service from start to finish was excellent! Communication was excellent and the installation was done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend!

Installers Kerry and Jimmy were very friendly, professional and neat. Their workmanship is clean and tidy. They worked very well together and got the job done in one day, as promised. They took the time to explain how everything worked, and even gave some helpful tips in terms of functionality to save energy and money. Price was fair as well.

Had a great experience dealing with Carmine and Joe from Boss Mechanical. They came in right away, and on time when they said they would. Fixed our burnt fan motor. Glad we found this company. Will be using them in future and referring to family and friends.

Ana from Boss Mech. was 100% professional, understood my requests and set up appointment quickly. The A/C was repaired on time. Another HVAC company unnecassrily billed me $140 with completely wrong dignosis which could have costed me $ 1500. Yes Boss Mech is professional as far as I can tell.
