Sol Landscaping

Our yard was 30+ years of mess when we got it. Thanks to the wonderful team at Sol it is an enviable space where we can have BBQs, watch our kids play and just enjoy. From being afraid of what creature we might find under an overgrown bush or just how much chemicals were in those old rail ties to our very favourite space! This team came in and worked SO hard, hauled thousands of pounds out and put countless pounds of love in. Oh and they did important things like grading and irrigation. My only regret was not taking a before picture. I never leave reviews but this team completely deserves this small amount of effort for the huge effort they made for us.

I was so impressed with the workmanship and quality of installation from Sol Landscaping. We hired Roberto and his team to install a patio and sod in our backyard, flowerbeds with rocks and shrubs and trees in our front yard.

Roberto was fantastic to work with right from the outset. He took the time to explain different options to us, including various price points and materials for our consideration. He organized for the utilities to be marked and ensured that we were aware of the scope of the project before starting.

During the sod installation we decided to install flower beds around the perimeter of the yard, which was a substantial change to the original design. Roberto was great at pivoting and accommodating this change and quickly provided a revised cost for us.

We are so happy with our yard and would highly recommend the Sol Landscaping team. They were extremely respectful, efficient and finished the work with quality that was not only above our expectations, but also on time and budget.

We hired Sol Landscaping to redo our entire back yard, which was in desperate need of work, including: the removal of an old deck and dog run, leveling and re-sodding of a very lumpy and weed-filled lawn, the installation of window wells, a new patio, several flower beds, brick edging, and a stepping stone path. Roberto responded quickly to our inquiry and spent over an hour with us discussing what we would like done and various options to fit our needs. He was very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable, and took time to answer all of our questions and concerns.
Roberto and his team did a wonderful job in completely overhauling our back yard. They were very conscientious and hard working and paid great attention to detail, whether practical, technical, or aesthetic. They were also patient and accommodating to changes and additions along the way. When several days of bad weather held up the work, they even came by on the weekend in order to finish on schedule. On top of the great work, they were very friendly, polite and really pleasant to be around.
Our yard has been completely transformed and we love it - especially the patio! Several people have already asked us about who did our yard. We couldn't be happier with the experience and the work that Sol landscaping have done. We highly recommend them.
