I've had Summers and Smith check my furnace and gas fireplace for well over 10 years and have always been more than satisfied.

When Enercare came for an Annual Air Conditioner Service, the tech said that the Flue from the Hot Water Heater to the chimney was backing up. Of course Enercare said that they do not service the Flues and Chimneys.
I got a reference for Summers and Smith. I phoned them at 8 am on a Friday. They called back within 10 minutes and had two techs out by 10. They checked the Flue and chimney access and checked the chimney on the roof. It was the chimney liner that was causing the problem. They checked with their provider, got a liner and had it installed by 1 pm. The service was timely and quick and wonderful.

My Ac was not cooling. They performed the Diagnostics and found that the compressor would not start and was locked. Then the fellow was able by tapping to get the compressor to release and operate so we can start cooling the house and get relief from the heat. The fellow was very patient in explaining all the details and that he was unsure of long term use and was looking into warranty coverage.

Called them for pool heater problem. Guy came and in 20 seconds, solved the issue - which the pool company should have taken care of...but that's another story.

Anyway....still had to pay, so got him to clean out the pool heater, check the furnace, advice on a couple other things.

Friendly, fair, straight-to-the point. Will likely call them in October to service our furnace.

Their office staff are friendly, professional and honest about timing for arrival of their service technicians. The technicians are professional, they show up on time, and are always very friendly & knowledgeable and provide honest guidance on what needs to be repaired or replaced. I really appreciate this company's approach to service - they remind me when I need to think about booking but instead of sending a flurry of emails, they send one notice or give me a courtesy phone call. They are reliable, approachable, reasonably priced and just an overall pleasure to work with.

Terrific service for our annual A/C service. Technician was on time, informative and exceptionally helpful. Provided useful advice and product installation for noise reduction. Would definitely use the Summers and Smith team again!

Had a great experience with this company. Brad and David did the installation. It took most of the day and they were both very professional and explained the system and gave me tips on how to maintain the system. They cleaned up the site thoroughly before leaving. Andrea in the Aurora office was also very helpful as was my salesman. Thanks to all.

I sat down beside two of their employees at the Home Show in Aurora and booked an appointment for the first Monday- it was a delight to talk to them, and even more with the one who came to my home to measure and talk over details. They showed up right on time and right away they discovered oddities in my electrical work - something I couldn’t quite pinpoint but they discovered in seconds - something that could have ended tragically had they not been vigilant. I was able to get an electrician right away and all of the problems and more were solved.
