Assured Quality Roofing and Eavestroughs

YCC145 hired Assured Quality to replace our eaves and downspouts. They were very professional, on time, tell us everyday what they were doing, and went beyond what they were suppose to do. Corrected lots of problems from past roofers. They also showed us pictures of other issues as well.

Perry is a good communicator. He did a good job of determining what needed to be done for a complex roof. He demonstrated craftsmanship, honesty and innovation in his suggestions for solving issues. He was professional and willing to take the time to do the job properly. I would recommend him.

I first met Perry in 2017 when I needed eaves and downspouts installed after having my roof replaced. Boy did I wish I had contacted him before using the roofer my contractor recommended. Perry was knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what needed to be done to ensure a quality job - both for his installation, and for the roof that was already replaced. This year I needed my garage roof replaced but had misplaced Perry's card so I contacted a number of roofers - both through HomeStars and through recommendations. Despite a number of promises to come by to give me an estimate, no one arrived. I noticed a number in my contacts just called "Roofer", texted to see who it was, and luckily it was Perry. He came by the next day, provided me a quote within 5 days and completed the work within 2 weeks of first contact. I don't know if Perry's costs were a bit higher than I would have been charged by a fly-by-night roofer. And I don't care. I want a roofer who knows what he is doing, who can explain what and why he follows a specific process, who shows up when he promises, who cleans up after the job, who is pleasant to deal with, and who stands behind his work. Perry meets all of these requirements and I highly recommend his company.

Assured Deficient Roofing is what this company is actually abbreviated as. This incompetent and inconsiderable company worked on my roof and damaged my personal brand new vehicle extensively and failed to notify me until they were approached.

The owner Perry admitted due to his company negligence that my vehicle was damaged. Perry had asked me to obtain a quote from 3 bodyshops and promised he'd pay for the damages. After 3 dealership bodyshop quotes at $4000+ for the repairs he denied to pay for anything and told me to go through my own insurance instead with poor communication 3 months later.

Other than being inconsiderable about his clients assest, their work and ethics are extremely unsatisfactory. The company had trashed my street while working leaving the eaves in common areas. Throwing eaves and pipes from the roof whilst not being aware of their surroundings and the final outcome of the result came out to be the eaves getting blocked, drain pipes having major gaps causing leaks and not being secured well enough. I wouldn't recommend this company even to an enemy. All potential clients should look elsewhere. Furthermore I have also reported this company to the Better Business Bureau.

I had a pretty challenging situation with a flat roof poorly maintained by previous owners. I called a number of roofers (at least 6) before finding Assured Quality Roofing. None of the others seemed knowledgeable, the price variability was so wide, and none of them felt very strong. Perry and Assured Quality Roofing was a completely different experience.

Gave Perry a call and he took the time to explain how a flat roof works, how to assess the root cause issues, how to think through a system that was going to work best for the situation I was in, and throughout the full scoping exercise he took a lot of pride in the conversation and in his recommendations.

Perry and his team were very knowledgeable and fixed the flat roof. The quality of the work is impeccable, and their professionalism was noticeable. They were never late, they completed the job on time, they priced it fairly, and the team was really good about troubleshooting things uncovered throughout the process. He and the team went above and beyond to ensure proper drainage and modifying the system overall.

I highly recommend Perry and his team - you will not be dissapointed!

During a heavy rain I noticed water pouring over my eavestroughs that we causing some water issues in my house. I went on Homestars to search out a company to both clean my gutters but also install screens to keep out debris. Assured Roofing was rated very highly but I wasn't sure if I wanted a roofing company to do the work (vs. a company that cleans eaves). Perry was one of the first contractors to respond and showed up promptly. He measured the house and gave me what I discovered was a very fair quote on the work. He explained what they would do and showed me the exact gutter guard they would install. He explained the differences between the different gutter guards and why he liked this particular product. He directed me to the web site for more information and I found a newspaper article from Mike Holmes raving about this same gutter guard product. So I was sold. Perry and crew showed up ahead of schedule when I wasn't home, so Perry completed the work and then returned the next day to show me photos and collect payment. I was very happy with these guys. They're honest, hard working and take pride in their work. Highly recommend.

I have been meaning to write this review for sometime now but I could never get around to it. It has been a few years now since the roof was replaced and now that covid19 has given everyone a bit more time to think let me take a few minutes to recognize a company for doing a great job.

I first used Assured Quality Roofing for some downspout work and I was very impressed with the service.

A few years later I used them again to do a complete roof replacement and once again Perry and his crew were exceptional.

Perry is very knowledgeable and people friendly. Perry provided me with all the possible options and the different products that I could use and what were the pros and cons of using each product. Perry does not take short cuts, which is why I will always call him first for any roofing projects.

The supplies arrived when promised and the project started on time. The work area was always cleaned at the end of each day. It was a big project with the complete removal and replacement of all the roofing materials and plywood.

Perry always prefers exceeding the minimum requirements and building using top materials and using techniques for long lasting results. I felt like Perry treated my project like it was his own home in terms of the care he took with addressing even the smallest details.

Its been a few years now since the project was completed and I have had no issues and the roof is performing as it should. He stands by his work and has a great warranty which he lives up to. If you have a problem he will quickly address it.

An emergency shingle repair was needed after a storm earlier this year. The work was done the same day as requested and has held up well in subsequent wind storms.
