They responded quickly to my initial call, they showed up promptly to review the problem (water leaking into the basement from a cracked water supply line) and suggest a solution. I was impressed. Once I had approved the work estimate I was even more impressed by the speed with which they did the work. The workers were polite, thorough and cared about doing a good job. I am sure it was tough work digging through all those tree roots and under a wall. Once the new pipes were installed they cleaned the site up well. I would definitely hire Drain 1 Plumbers again.

Kitchen faucet issue late at night. They came the next morning and fixed the problem within minutes explaining the cause clearly to me. The technician was very courteous.

Paul is truly a wonderful person!! I am very grateful for your service and help. Paul went above and beyond to help us out of an emergency situation and was able to trouble shoot over the phone and guide me on how to fix the water outage to my house, after being without water for 6 hours.
The city of Toronto water department was not even able to provide a solution, even thought the construction on the street created the water outage.

Excellent job completed by Pavlo and his team (Oleksiy). The job entailed drilling through 1 1/2" of concrete to install retrofit plate. Oleksiy stayed all day until the job was done. Olesksiy also changed the faucet and added a hand held shower head with hose for elderly mother. Pavlo recommended a teak stool for the bathtub instead of medical chair as it would look nicer. I purchased the teak stool and everything works and looks wonderful. This is an excellent company that does a great job and responds to all customer requests quickly. Would highly recommend.

About a week ago, I noticed that my ceiling was starting to get water damage. Realizing (after ignoring the problem for a bit) that the toilet was right above where the damage was, called Drain 1 Plumbers to book an appointment. Was told that a plumber was finishing a job in the area and would be over right after. 30 minutes later, Olekisy arrived (off to a great start)

Oleksiy took two minutes to diagnose the problem (a gasket issue) and went right to work. He discovered that the wax on the gasket was melting due to the heated floors - the people who did the washroom a year and a half ago should have installed a rubber gasket (more on them later). What I appreciated is that Oleksiy didn't just tell me the issue - he showed me the issue.

Upon further inspection, he also saw that when the people who installed my new toilet did the work, they used the old flange rather than replacing it. The flange was warped, and so, Oleksiy had to replace that too. Before he even started work, he was upfront telling me how much the job would cost with tax (very appreciated).

1.5 hours later (and a replacement of the hose on top of everything), the toilet is working the way it always should have.

Oleksiy and Drain 1 will forever be my go to plumbers and I will recommend them to everyone. Efficient, upfront, honest, and amazing work.

Paul and his crew finished the whole job in three days. They were very informative of the whole process and the finished product was neat and well organized giving us ample storage space in a tiny closet that was previously housed nothing but a water tank. I would definitely recommend drain 1 for such plumbing jobs.

Recent homeowners whom ran into some plumbing issues in our basement. Pavlo and team came initially during an evening call, to address leak. They were then able to return and work on full fix in the preceding days.

Team did the fix, identified and solved some incremental issues, and aligned best approach to obtain insurance and city coverage/credits.

Team was friendly, and personable. More so, when we ran into an incremental issue, Pavlo and team were able to swing by and provide a fix after hours.

Renovation of laundry room, new drywall, floors, painting and a few other miscellaneous projects around the basement. Overall happy with work and professionalism from the crew, cost was a bit higher than I anticipated, but would recommend for further projects.

Paul was quick to respond and provide information, and quick to get back to me on scheduling and pricing. Alex did the work right on schedule, unobtrusively, with attention to detail. He was also easy to deal with and knowledgeable about the work and any next steps that might be required
