This review is long overdue, but well deserved nonetheless. Chris was absolutely wonderful to deal with. Originally, he came to do an estimate for insulating my basement and ended up insulating the attic. He was honest and his quote was more than fair. He is super knowledgeable and willing to provide advice on projects that he, himself, doesn't do. I highly recommend him. He deserves all the praise he has received, as he has definitely earned it all.

After spending a winter in our new home, we discovered that we had quite a bit of moisture in our attic. After a quick perusal of Home Stars it seemed like a no brainer to call Expert Insulation for a consultation and a quote.

As noted in the reviews already posted, Chris was very prompt in setting up a time to evaluate our situation. He checked everything out, explained what was happening and gave us a quote on the spot which was perfectly reasonable given the work that needed to be done. The crew came and put in gable vents and roof vents as soon as the weather permitted. They worked quickly and did a great job at the installation. Chris also offered up some advice on how to further insulate our vaulted ceiling when our shingles are ready to be replaced and checked out our leaking sky light for us.

They will be finishing off the job in August by adding some blow insulation to the attic after everything drys out. We are looking forward to a cooler summer and a warmer winter in our house thanks to Expert Insulation and would definitely recommend their services! Working with Chris and his crew has been great!

This crew came in, layed tarp to protect the floor, removed their shoes, wore gloves so as not to soil the attic access, vacuumed and there was not a trace of them being there. Being over the age of 65 I can't tell you how long it has been since I have seen this type of service. Be proud of the business you have established. Thank you so much. My home is well built but has a small number of issues relating to our bay windows and skylight. Chris helped us diagnose these issues and to create a few solutions. His knowledge helped us and his fast, prompt and courteous crew made the job! His prices were fair and i would recommend him to anyone.

We had ventilation problems and required attic insulation; the best feature was Chris' outstanding communication skills and his expert knowledge. I was given different options based on functionality and cost and together Chris and I came up with the plan forward. On appointment day, Chris contacted me with details of when they would show up and he was within 10 minutes of the agreed time. The work was completed the same day in a professional manner.
We are looking at hiring him again next year for a new roof (tiles).

Chris and his guys were very professional. His prices were more than fair, and I was very happy to pay when all was complete. He was also flexible with the dates and times, and worked around my schedule. The work was well done, and my house is nice and toasty. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that I requested that the attic hatch be simply covered with poly after they were finished, as I wanted to repaint the attic hatch cover, and his guys used a fairly heavy duty tape to attach the poly, and it ended up taking paint off the walls when we removed it, and left sticky red tape residue. It wasn't a big deal because we're painting that area in a month or two, but it was a letdown after everything else was so great. I chalk that one up to a brain fart. Regardless, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Expert Insulation again.

I recently purchased a new home and it was lacking insulation in the attic. I had dealt with Chris last June over the phone about another house and he had offered me some advice, so when this happened he was the first person I called. Chris works fast we made arrangements to meet and discuss the issues with the house. The work was all completed within the week. The insulation crew were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. (Which I appreciated.) Chris was very east to reach via phone and email. I will be using Expert Solutions when I spray foam the basement.
