Since established in 1983 Thermo Cool Mechanical has been providing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation (HVAC) services all over the Greater Toronto Area. Thermo Cool has grown significantly over the past 10 years. We have centered our attention to heating and cooling for high rise buildings.

All our technicians are fully trained and certified on all equipment we work on. Additionally, we are factory trained for most common brands of water source heat pumps. Our trucks are fully stocked with all the parts required to complete the job.

We offer custom replacement units to our condominium customers. Additionally, we provide indoor air quality products adaptable to condominium suites.

Our shop is a fully equipped repair shop for water source heat pumps. We properly clean and service all major repairs in shop. This allows us to complete the job properly and efficiently.

In recent years Thermo Cool has made it a goal to improve their customer service. We offer friendly dealings, along with twenty-four hour emergency service. Keeping our clients informed and educated is a must. We treat all of our customers and potential customers with respect, understanding the importance of their HVAC needs.

Our technicians carry some of the most advanced tools known to the trade, giving them an instant advantage over the competition. This not only provides the technician with more confidence, it also allows the customer to put their mind at ease.

Thermo Cool is concerned with energy management. The main advantages of energy management are: saving our customers money and assisting in the struggle against the depletion of our environment. By offering energy management tactics, such as digital thermostats and more advanced HVAC equipment, we can save our clients money, but more importantly reduce the harm being caused to our atmosphere.

No heat or AC from unit.
Spent 1.5 hrs testing the unit insuite,
had to take the unit to the shop for further testing. Was a leak in the coils which was replaced.

HVAC service (heat pump)

We had a mysterious burning smell in our condo, and worried it might be our 1yr old heat pump. Thermocool sent a technician to check it out and confirmed it was likely not our heat pump (phew). I was very impressed at the level of service - Jamie listened carefully to my explanation of the situation and was very knowledgable of the type of unit we have. He was professional and courteous, and took the time to explain all the different things he was testing to ensure no stone was left unturned. I checked my records after he left and it turns out he was one of the technicians who installed it last year! He's an absolute gem, now proven twice over. I'm so glad I called Thermocool - I've only ever had positive experiences with their technicians and will definitely call again should I ever need HVAC service in the future.

Humidifier installation

Installation required removing an old humidifier and installing a new humidifier. The service man, Perry, was superb.

A few frustrations occurred trying to get recommendations and final quotes. I had to call back several times when promised delivery of information never arrived.

Heat pump and thermostat replacement

The junior technician you sent did not install properly due to a lack of experience and knowledge of the system. Due to this shortfall, the machine ran for less than a day then the thermostat did not work because of incorrect wiring. Being a weekend we had to wait 3 days without the function of the heat pump. He returned and was unable to diagnose the problem so we had to wait another day for a senior technician who found out that the bad wiring resulted in the thermostat being "fried".

We expect to be compensated for this inconvenience.
