I cancelled back in May. Despite numerous phone calls and countless hours on hold I continue to be charged each month. The cost above is the monthly fees that I have been charged since my cancellation.
At first I was told I had spoken with the wrong agent. Then I was told that I would be cancelled effective immediately. Then I was charged again. Then I recieved a note saying that I was getting credited for $80(ish). When the refund didn't go through, I called again and was told they were putting a "rush" on it, and that it was actually for only $30, because part of it was applied to notice period (?). Each time I call the agents claim to help me but then actually do nothing. The agent that told me that I had spoken to the wrong agent was not just rude but also unhelpful.
There are better options out there for personal security. Don't even give these guys your home number. I still get automated calls telling me that there is a communication issue with my service box, which has been disconnected since May.
Currently am waiting for the supervisor Jarrod to call me back, as apparently he doesn't work on Wednesdays.
