I want to say my overall experience with roofing for less was phenomenal. To begin, my sales girl explained everything in great detail and went over all my options and colors. The crew that showed up to my home was very courteous and polite. When the crew was finished in the timely manner that I was promised, they really cleaned up my yard and garden areas. I highly recommend Roofing for Less for your new roof.

this company thinks it's okay to take $3000.00 for no work done & no materials ordered. The owner provided an initial quote. After she got my deposit, a site visit was provided and then she doubled the estimate. I was not comfortable with that, so I asked for my deposit back and she refused. Her husband said they would refund me since no work was done, however Jody refuses to reimburse me. In an email confirms that no work was done and that any materials were ordered however she says she deserves the money for our emails and phone calls. I offered them $500.00 for our conversations and emails, however she wants the whole $3000.00. There is no deposit clause in the estimate quote/contract. I discovered that there is no showroom or office.

We had our new steel roof installed by Roofing for Less as well as new siding and aluminum. The red colour roof is amazing and we have had so many compliments on it, we couldn't be happier! We had custom red eavestroughs, fascia and soffit also installed and it totally completes the look we wanted to achieve with our house. We chose the Celect siding in a grey colour with white trims and now our whole place looks fantastic. Quite the transformation. Thank you Roofing for Less for making our home look so spectacular!

We just had our roof and siding work completed by Roofing for Less. The prices were in the middle of all the estimates we got. The work was completed on a good schedule. The guys on the crew were polite and did a good clean up. The materials are nice quality and make our tired old house look new again. The process from start to finish was a positive experience.

They were very quick to take my deposit and once they had it i was forced to chase them to complete my roof. Flashing was done wrong and I have leaks that I had to get repaired by somebody else because this company refuses to live up to a warranty they clearly offer on it's website. Take the money and run should be the name. After having my roof looked at by 3 different highly recommended companies I am now forced to have a new roof put on. The only time I could get them to respond to me was when I posted a bad review on Google and they accused me of being a former disgruntled employee when in fact i am a retired veteran. Do not hire this company if you want your roof done properly.

We dealt with Larry Smart of Roofing For Less as I needed to remove the roof of my home in order to reinsulate the attic space. Larry came to quote the job. He agreed that if we removed the back of the roof it would give full access for the insulation crew and worked with me to come up with ideas to stop the ice damming that was occurring. He told me he worked for the roofing company but they had a sister company that would do the insulation. He sent me a quote on the roofing as well as a quote for new aluminum, the insulation quote didnt come until 2 weeks before the job was scheduled to start. I was quoted just over $13k to remove half the roof and replace it once the job was complete and just over $6k for aluminum. I was given a range for the insulation from $4500 to $7500 so I paid the deposit for the roof and aluminum. 2 weeks before the job is to begin we receive the quote for insulation, its just under $10k. At this point Im stuck because I have already paid a deposit for the roof to come off and without insulation there is no point in removing the roof. So I paid the deposit for insulation. The job begins and the roof comes off. The insulation crew comes and insulated and the roofing crew comes back and puts the roof on. No problems were mentioned and when the job was done he asked for the balance. I noticed later in the day that someone had come through the drywall in a bedroom. So I reached out to Larry to let him know. He assured me it would be repaired and that the rest of the job went smoothly. There was also 13 sheets of plywood and 16 bundles of shingles left after the job was complete, no credit was given for this overage; they took it with them. So I paid the balance owing. The drywaller they sent did a horrendous job, screwed drywall to cardboard, no tape, 1 coat of mud and painted it. I was not happy with this and was assured someone would come to repair it. No one came,they instead gave a $500 credit for this. Mid Nov. we got a snow fall and my roof was still melting as if we hadnt done anything. I reached out again to Larry and he didnt know why that was, that the roof had been completed and the attic insulated. We knew this wasnt the case as we could see old insulation batts. Then he tells us that they couldnt get to that space, to fix it in the spring will cost an additional $9k. We contact Roofing for Less and speak with the owner Jodi. Turns out they dont have a sister company that does insulation and she apparently didnt know about this job. We sent her the invoices to prove it and she tells us Larry is fraudulently using her invoices and that this isnt her problem and she isnt dealing with us. We contacted the insulation company for the invoices they sent to Larry, only to find he over charged us by just under $4k for the insulation. We contacted Larry and confronted him about this. He tells us hes sorry, he needed the money to buy drugs he is addicted too. Tells us the roof will get fixed and he will send us back the money he overcharged.
January a new roofing crew comes and removes the front of the roof now to give access a second time to the insulation crew to complete the job. Again the insulation crew doesnt speak with us while on-site and completes the job; leaving behind the garbage in our driveway. A review on their business and a few hours later they send someone to get the garbage. While here they finally come to the door. They tell us that they didnt have full access the first time, that Larry knew that, received a credit for it and signed off on it. They also state that the insulation used is not code and that it is only R30 not R60. According to them they told Larry this was not to code and he hushed him. The roof still has a hot spot all the way across the front, I have now paid almost $10k for insulation that is not to code. Larry Smart is a fraud, and Roofing for Less is aware and continues to employ him. Roofing for Less is responsible as he is a general manager for them yet they refuse. Do yourself a favour and stay far away from this company!

clean up was sloppy with coil of nails point up left in dogs yard , 1 end of eavestrough left raised by downspout. This was over a year ago never corrected. Called concerning couple broken shingles in an area they had not worked in this year . First call not responded to , second call response by sales person and get back to me with repair cost . crickets. Called again got answering machine , response again nothing

I am reputable architect and builder in collingwood blue mountains area - i can tell you should run from these people . They dont do good work period . It would take too long to explain fully but I can tell you their work isnt good and they dont come back to service warranty calls and all they do is waste time arguing . They excel in service at processing your deposit quickly and also calling you for you residual payment . If only they could fix their issues Now we have to drag these people to small claims court . The owner Jody is the issue .

The best service I have had in years. We were quoted a reasonable price with a clear explanation of the service to be provided.
The job was completed within 4 days of my acceptance of the contract. My roof looks exceptional. The crew worked diligently and their team work was professional. Super clean up job.
The office staff worked with me and were clear and kept me up to date on delivery of the materials and what to expect.
