Aluminum Wiring

We purchased a home that was built in the 1970's in Lake Bonivista that had aluminum wiring. The insurance company required that the home needed an inspection by a Master Electrician and any electrical fixes been done before they would provide a quote and insurance. We were under tight times lines due to the sale of the home, and Kyle provided prompt and professional work. Kyle performed the inspection and completed the aluminum wiring repairs including using Noalax Anti Oxidant for the aluminum/copper connections, he provided us with a write up on the repairs that we used to secure our insurance quote and coverage.

Kitchen Renovation

We've had Kyle work on a number of projects in our 1957 bungalow over the last 7 years or so. Most recently, we gutted our kitchen and Kyle brought our wiring up to code. He also installed additional pot lights to brighten the space. He also suggested we use an LED under counter lighting system which we did and absolutely love. We've always appreciated Kyle's workmanship and have never had any issues with the numerous projects he has completed for us.

Kitchen Renovation

Kyle did a great job of recommending what product would be best suited (including sensitivity to price/cost) for my kitchen reno underlighting using LED strips. He was very professional and took care in the installation of the lighting, as well as advising me of new building code requirements that had to be corrected from the old electrical.

We found Kyle on Home Stars and all of the reviews for his company were positive. Kyle was very knowledgeable, competent, and very pleasant to work with. He came back as the job required and completed the whole job in a timely manner. We would highly recommend Kyle to anyone requiring an 'Honest Electrician'!

Commercial Case Study: The Honest Electrician Helped Mountain Mercato in Canmore Stop Experiencing Power Interruptions While Using Their Induction Hot Plates
The specialty food market and café were constantly tripping their main breaker anytime they used their induction hot plates for cooking, which caused everything in the store to come to a standstill. Fed up with the problem, Mountain Mercato called The Honest Electrician to see if he could help. The Honest Electrician immediately recognized the issue; a previously installed 120/208VAC three-phase power system had been poorly balanced. The Honest Electrician spent two hours taking various readings, then moved some breakers around to better balance the system. Mountain Mercato hasn’t tripped their main breaker while using induction hot plates ever since.
