Luciano, the boss came and gave us an estimate in April/16. We were hesitant to go with him at first because there are too many shoddy pavers around.
Are we glad we did because his hard working crew did an outstanding job on the final stage of laying the asphalt. When they first laid the fill in May, we were not sure of the outcome. Just give him the chance as he delivers what he promises, laying very thick asphalt where needed like "old school" quality. They did not cheap out on where the driveway needed the asphalt laid thicker and put the slopes for water runoff in the best locations.
We would hire Luciano and his remarkable crew again without hesitation. He is truly a perfectionist!
Also, it was a large area done as we had the original driveway made wider and longer than before.

I am very pleased with the service and professionalism of the King Star Paving Team. Eros, in particular was a pleasure to deal with; he kept his word on the timelines for completion of the job; communicated me with often and accommodated my request.

When I contacted Eros to give us an estimate, I was impressed about his professionalism and knowledge. He come to see the job we needed done right away and gave us the best advise on the design of the project. From all the other quotes we got his was the best. When the crew came to do the job Eros, with his great sense of humor, was there as well to make sure the project was completed as contracted.

Called Luciano to come by and give me a quote. He was here in 2 days. Gave me a quote that was better than 2 of the other 4 companies I had quote. Picked him because he was the most thorough, professional that provided a detailed quote and answered ALL of my questions. Two of the 4 companies I had quote told me that the line that ran under my driveway was a water line and not a gas line. They were all wrong.
King Star showed up in a week to remove the old driveway. Three weeks later they showed up right on time to put in the new driveway. Every time I called Luciano, he answered the phone. Every time.
Simple, quick, honest, professional.

My wife and i had a great experience with a very knowledgeable sales rep <Fabio> He took us through all the of the steps in a kind and professional manner. Top notch work with any concern covered. I will have them back next year for the front of our house and would only expect that same level of quality. No issues were ignored and all answers were timely. I have nothing to gain by posting this however, because i found them here on this site, i felt it was important to post this.

Our experience with King Star paving was fantastic. Our contact (Daniela) was a pleasure to work with and I knew from the get-go that she had our best interests in mind. She took the time to walk us through the work required, the pros and cons of various products available and most important logistics. Overall, King Star was flexible in their scheduling and worked with us to plan accordingly - making sure there was minimal disruption to our busy schedules and that alternate arrangements could be made for our vehicles.
Overall great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone.

King Star Paving tore up the interlocking of my patio, driveway, and courtyard (three garage driveway). They did an excellent job. I was initially scared about the tar leaking into other areas; however, they did an excellent job keeping it neat and tidy. They were excellent and came out when they said they would. Very happy because other contractors I have had have been a disaster. They were extremely precise and I was so happy with the job done that I recommended them to my parents!

I am very disappointed with the end results. It was done June 16. When they finished our driveway they left foot marks right in the middle of driveway. I did let Daniela know, the answer I got it will disappear eventually and that how story goes till now.
We stayed away from the driveway more than 10 days. I called Daniela and i also sent her pictures of tires mark. Also one spot wasn't done properly I had cracks a couple of days later. I have been told when they come back to do somebody else on my street they will come and fix it. Nobody came so far. Called so many times. I have been told nothing wrong with the work they did and that is why work is under warranty. Really?. That is not right, after 10 days to have tire marks and blame it on the hot weather. I would not recommend them to nobody.

Our drive way and our neighbours' driveway) had to be re paved. We received excellent service from King star. Enzo responded to our requests for a quote immediately. The quote was competitive. The work was done on time. The workers were professional and we were very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend King Star to a friend.

We had been trying to get a new driveway installed since the Spring. 90% of the companies we contacted didn't even call us back, and of those who did, only 1 came to see us. We thought we would never get this job done!
A friend said "I know a guy" and it was Enzo from King Star. He answered the phone when I called! And he came out to see us that night, and gave us a very reasonable quote. The job was done in less than 2 weeks, and we are extremely happy with the end product. We have recommended Enzo and King Star to lots of friends, they are fabulous!
