King Star Paving Inc.

King Star quality and service is poor in two ways: a big crack appeared on my driveway in June 2016, in 8 months after service was done ( September 2015). Despite my calls ( called about 7 or 8 times) nothing has been repaired as of November 12, 2016.
They first promised to come in August, then in September, then they said they have too much work to do and after they are done with their major pavement , they will start repairing cracks in my area ( so I am not the only one with this poor quality). Nothing in October, nothing in November. They keep promising and promising but do not do the work.
in October, when I called again, they said they will be done with repair before the 1st frost, but this never happened. It is November the 12th, there are minus temperatures outside during the night, but King Star Pavement doesn't care.
Would never recommend it.

King Star you are the best!!! Look no further folks for the most professional, competent team run by Luciano that ever there was.
Seriously, fire any questions at this man & he has the right answers & based on their stellar reputation as the best in the business. If only all services were run so proficiently & in such a timely manner, oh how much easier our lives would be. With many thanks.

Kingstar is terrible, Specifically Angelo. I asked to have my driveway done in September 2015. I was very accommodating to his schedule despite not being given any solid dates to when he would re-asphalt my driveway. Within a year the driveway already started to crack, I sent an email and he assured me that he'd come by to fix it. I patiently waited 3 weeks and didn't get a response. I followed up with him several times and he ignored all my emails. In my emails I was respectful and simply asked when he might have the time to show up and make the repairs. I've emailed him 3 times with no response. I am very disappointed with the quality of the work and more specifically the consumer service as well as the integrity. Maybe I'll change my review if he ever gets back to me...

Update: In early October I contacted King Star directly based on the feedback from my review and spoke with Mary. We had a conversation about the service that was provided and the guarantee to repair any cracks within a year. She informed me that they were a family run business and was very surprised by the lack of customer service I received. She mentioned that it isn't uncommon for these things to happen due to a variety of factors and assured me that they would send someone to have a look and make the necessary repairs. Its been over a month and still nothing has been done and no one has reached out to me in regards to repairing the damage. Still very surprised and very disappointed...

**Second Update June 14, 2017: King Star sent out a written letter to all customers that had issues with their driveway and promised to repair any damages back in the December of 2016. Spring 2017 King Star left a business card at my door. So I called them back to ask about the repairs they promised and they claimed that they fixed the cracks but they did not.. and instead checked me off as 'repaired'. I told them no work was done because my car was parked over the damaged area so there was no way they could have fixed it. They claimed that someone would come back to have a look but no one did. If had I known they were going to come by I would have removed any obstructions from the driveway in order to allow them to fix the issues. They've left me very very disappointed in the care they give to their customers.

After searching the internet reviews for paving and concrete companies we have decided to go ahead with King Star Paving Inc., and we couldn't have made a better decision.
Luciano explained to us what needed to be done and answered all our questions. He gave us a written estimate and called us before each phase of the job started.
The crew members came on the planned days and they did an exquisite job. Very impressed with the way the French curbs were finished and the great craftsmanship and attention to details. The porch steps look great, as well the new asphalt pavement.
All work was done on time, as previously discussed and in a clean manner. We will definitely recommend this company to anyone.

We had new exposed concrete curbing and asphalt driveway done by this company back in July. We job was done professionally and although there was a slight delay, there was always good communication. The concrete curbs were beautiful. However, within a few days, there was a problem with the drive way, with some crumbling and cracking. Fabio, the owner, responded, quickly to the concerns and indicated he would monitor it. When the situation worsened and our neighbours' driveway that was done at same time, showed same issues we requested it be redone. The company did come and redo the driveways , again very professionally, and it looks good. We are convinced it was a 'bad batch' of asphalt, which, of course, can happen.
We are very impressed that the company honoured the guarantee without too much hassle at all.
I would recommend this company for that reason.

Daniela and her team were very personable and professional. Their work was clean and punctual. They use top quality products and the walkway and driveway look amazing. We have had many compliments from neighbors, family and friends. Daniela is very experienced and gives great advice on style and color of pavers as well as past clients, etc. I have used King Star twice now for different projects and we are very satisfied. They also follow up with customer satisfaction!

After being behind schedule and a very rough start, the owner Fabio and team got engaged to help move the job along. The result was very-high quality work, on time and at a fair price. In construction things almost always go wrong, King Star's response was exemplary. Highly recommend their services. The final product was immaculate, which is most important!

King Star Paving was working on our neighbour's driveway and we decided to give them a call as well.
We had a couple of companies quote the job, King Star gave us the best price and they were willing to start the job right away.
We were dealing with Eros, who quoted the works and explained the process. He was very patient and polite.
Quote was prepared by Mary, very efficient.
The process was as painless as possible, the crew was in and out for the excavation, and three weeks later they were back at the job as scheduled.
The only regret we had was that we didn't use them in our previous location.
Thank you the new parking lot is looking fantastic.
Looking forward to another project with King Star.
