I am extremely disappointed in the appallingly poor service we have received from MaxWater. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM! We spent OVER $1,000.00 on a whole house 3 stage manganese/iron and UV water purification system they recommended would meet our needs. The salesman indicated that the filters would last 1 year with 2 people in the house. After 3 months the iron is back in our water and so I followed their procedure to send a technical support request through their website to get answers regarding the backwashing and media replacement capabilities mentioned in their on-line product description ( I did not receive an operations manual with the system when I bought it.) After 3 days I had received no reply from them and so I phoned and emphasized to the receptionist the importance of our request. This morning, after a week with no reply I phoned again and I must admit that I was not too cordial on the phone this time and demanded a prompt response within two hours. I was told that the technician could not be reached by any means and that we would have to wait. I then received an automated message that my tech ticket was completed but still I had no response by either phone or e-mail. We accept that there was a cryptic message buried in their automated response that requested an invoice number. At the same time, receptionist was of no help!
THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. SEARCH THE NET. — THERE ARE MANY OTHER COMPANIES WHO DISTRIBUTE THESE PRODUCTS AND I AM CERTAIN THAT ANY OF THEM CAN DO BETTER THAN MAX WATER. THEIR MANNER OF DOING BUSINESS HAS LEFT BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH THAT IS MUCH WORSE THAN THE TASTE THAT HAS RETURNED TO OUR WATER.
