Bat Control Specialists

We recently moved into a 30 yr old home and to our dismay found that we had a sizable bat infestation. After doing much research I decided to contact Bat Control Specialists. Benjamin Vaughan answered promptly and took the time to listen to my problem thoroughly. He put me at ease immediately and said that no infestation was insurmountable and outlined what his company would do to get rid of the bats and (more importantly) keep them from returning. Benjamin's knowledge of his subject matter is encyclopedic (that's wikipedic to all of you new fangled folk) and he will take considerable time and care to explain the wheres, whys and hows to you and to answer any question you may have. While on our job I heard him take calls and take the same time with each potential client (while he worked!). I find his professionalism very refreshing in this day and age of declining customer service and he is to be commended for it. His thoroughness is unbelievable ( he actually looked at my house on Google Earth while I was talking to him initially so that he would have a better understanding of the situation and it's possible scope!)
When Benjamin and crew arrived on site days later, they were very courteous and professional and explained everything they were going to do beforehand and they took the time to show me what materials they would use and why. They surveyed the situation and installed bat exclusion vents (one way doors) at the main points of ingress and egress. This would allow the bats to leave the building but not to re-enter. They then proceeded to seal every single nook and cranny that a bat might use, and I mean EVERY tiny little nook and cranny. They worked very methodically, systematically and carefully and went over every inch of the house. The work they did and the material they used did nothing to spoil the appearance of our home and you would be very hard pressed to even see evidence of their work unless I pointed it out to you. They cleaned up the site thoroughly after they were done and left zero evidence of their work.We are very pleased with the work they did and I'm happy to say still bat free. It's not an expense we had factored on but as with anything in life, you get what you pay for and I'm extremely pleased that we chose the right people for the job. And I made a new friend to boot because Benjamin is just one of those people.

We purchased our new home in a rural community in January. We have seen a few bats at dusk hovering around the home and coming out from an opening in the front of our garage. Since our garage was fully dry walled, we were sure that they weren't coming into the home. We then noticed that they were also at the side of our home and making their way into the wall between the eavesdrop & the roof canal. We were still sure that our walls were all properly sealed up and they would not make their way into our home. Well we got the shock one evening at 12:30 as we were watching TV. We noticed that one of them had come into the home. We chased it out of the home, after a few hours of trying to catch it. We then decided to call Bat Control Specialists and Ben answered right away. He took the time to answer all of our questions over the phone and made his way over to our home that evening. While speaking with Ben in our kitchen, he did get to see first hand where the bats were exiting my home. He came back the next day to bat proof our home and he worked all day tirelessly finishing bat proofing our whole home. Benjamin was very punctual. He works quickly and diligently, cleaning up after himself and he was always very polite. I couldn't have asked for a nicer man to take care of our little problem. Benjamin is very knowledgeable in what he does. He gave us quite a bit of information on bats and you can tell right away that he is really passionate about what he does and how he does it. He installed a few one way bat doors. In which they can leave, however, they couldn't get back in. Ben followed up with us the next day and then again a few days later, and then came back after about 15 days to remove the one way doors. We were extremely happy with Ben and level of service that we received. I would most definitely recommend this company to anyone. Thank you very much Ben!

We only ever had 3-4 bats in the house each summer, but it made each evening filled with dread about the possibility that one might show up. I was not happy about the price and considered alternatives but Ben made some good points. He came and after 7 hours had filled every opening in our brick century home, leaving 3 escape routes for the bats. Since then we have had all the weather conditions that encourage the bats to make an appearance - cool weather, hot nights, thunderstorms - and not a single flutter! I feel the money spent was a worthwhile investment and would encourage anyone to check this company out first!

Benjamin came to our house and did an amazing job. We had a bad experience with another specialist. After Benjamin and his guys came and took care of the problem there were no more bats in our attic. e are truly grateful for him and his guys for getting rid of this very stressful problem. As the owner of a heritage home in Cobourg ON built in 1848, I was dismayed to find that our home was inhabited by bats.
