Thanks for the review. I have to mention to anyone reading this that we don't normally wait 8 months to invoice. But because they had been ripped off for a few thousand bucks by a couple of
wildlife pest control companies. I wanted them to feel sure that this time the bat problem really had been fixed before they paid us. It bears repeating. Don't hire a non specialist for bat control work. If they do other animal or bugs, they are not specialists no matter what they claim.
On this particular job I had to undo a lot of the "Bat-Proofing" done by the other companies and redo it properly, and fix a few leaks caused by all the crappy workmanship. They appeared to be using meshing methods used to make houses raccoon and squirrel proof which does not work against bats. As I said Bat control is a speciality.
I appreciated your kind review and candor about price. The biggest complaint I get is always about price. Unlike buying a TV or winter vacation, spending money to solve a bat problem is no ones idea of a fun purchase. However, advertizing, gas, food, insurance, materials and sleeping in hotels seven plus months a year while serving clients all over Ontario and Quebec is costly. Despite our price you still hired us because you wanted a quality job with a good guarantee. Too many of my clients have been ripped off by non specialists and local pest companies offering cheap cures for complex bat problems. Paying Twice to have it done right is my definition of expensive. I'm glad that you mentioned price as it does help me emphasize that quality is never cheap. I'm also glad that despite being unhappy about the cost you still gave us a 10 out of 10. That's possibly the best compliment I had all year. Thank you.
I remember this job because you had the largest infestation of bats that I saw in 2014. The odor of bat urine by the garage was quite strong and there were a lot of bat droppings on the ground. I also remember that the bricks had a very irregular face which made enormous gaps where the soffits intersected the wall. The bats took full advantage of these gaps to move in and had clearly been there for a while. It was quite a challenge for me to seal these gaps in an innocuous manner even after doing this type of job hundreds of times. Thanks for the kind words and high rating(10 my favorite number)
Thank you for the kind review. I remember your home because despite being well built and newer it was really infested with bats. It just goes to show that even the best built homes have many places that bats can move in thru. I also remember your kindness in letting us use the bathroom and offering us cold drinks which, on a hot day is very much appreciated. Thank you again.
Ugh! my first non 10 out of 10 ouch! There goes my perfect record. I guess that 9 out of 10 is really good still but ouch! They seemed perfectly happy with the service I provided, which I am glad of. I know they have had no more bat problems. Yet just 9 out of 10. This is gonna drive me nuts. If there is anything I can do to bump this rating up to a 10 let me know. Seriously! LOL
