I have an outdoor gas fireplace that was installed with my backyard landscaping over 10 years ago. It recently stopped working. I saw Appleby Systems offered a fireplace repair service, so I called them even though they probably weren't familiar with the brand I had. The technician James from Appleby came and performed a thorough investigation of the issue. He diagnosed that a certain part had failed and that I needed to get a replacement. This proved to be the correct diagnostic.
I contacted the manufacturer, which I discovered was based in New Zealand, and purchased a replacement part (the ignition system) from them and had it shipped to me. James then came back and replaced the part which was trickier than expected as the new version of the part wasn't exactly the same as the predecessor. And now I am enjoying my fixed fireplace.
I also wanted to mention that working with James and the office staff at Appleby was a pleasant experience as they were very friendly and accommodating. Based on this service, I would easily recommend them.
