If you are looking for an honest company with quality products do not call Ecotech!! Save yourself money and frustration and go elsewhere!! I was called after given quotes saying the price would be higher than originally given (both times I ordered my windows and patio doors). Thankfully the original quote was honored after raising a stink both times. Installers who installed the windows left a huge hole in my wall where they ripped out the curtain rod bracket and spray foam on my walls. They put an unauthorized charge on my credit card 2 days after Christmas for a door that had not even been installed yet. I was charged for a bay window when a flat window was installed then only offered a few hundred dollars back saying that was all the difference was. Other companies I have spoke to since said a flat vs a bay is way more than a few hundred dollars cheaper! I was scheduled to have the patio doors installed but they made another front door instead of the patio doors so I had to wait another 6-8 weeks for the patio doors to be made. I was called to schedule the install for these and was assured the installers would take all precautions due to the Covid19 outbreak we are now in. Three installers showed up to install the doors with no masks, gloves and did not keep a 2m distance while doing the install! A couple days ago I had a service tech out to repair a slider window due to water and a cold draught coming through the window. Apparently this is a know issue with the sliders! Window is still not fixed and who knows when it will be. Good news is that the hole in my wall was finally fixed! When the repair tech was getting ready to leave he told me I had an outstanding balance, I asked for what and he said he had no idea and to not worry about it. The next day Ecotech put another large transaction on my credit card again without any call, email or anything other than the repair guy saying I had an outstanding balance! Again I am having to deal with this for the second time! I am so sorry I ever called Ecotech let alone signed a contract with them!! Ecotech should be ashamed and embarrassed at how they treat their customers!
