Installing backwater valve

Slavic was recommended to us several months ago and when we had flooding in our basement from the storm, we contacted him. From the first moment he arrived and explained how the backwater valve worked and what would be involved in the entire process, (obtaining the city permit, arranging for the inspector, how much floor would have to be broken up, etc.), in addition to his very reasonable price, we knew we had a "keeper". We will be contacting Slavic to waterproof the outside of our entire house next Spring. We have been very happy to recommend him to several people.

Backwater valve installation

Our experience was great. Slavic came to our home soon after calling him to quote our backwater valve installation. He was attentive, friendly, open to Q&A, and taught me about drainage during his quote. He suggested a newer no maintenance backwater valve, which we opted for. We signed on the dotted line, and paid a small deposit to him. Slavic then pulled a permit with the city, and then his team came about 1 1/2 weeks later to complete the backwater valve installation. A city inspector came about a day after they installed it, and all passed. Slavic's team came back to put back the dirt that they had dug up and redo the concrete.

During the process they were professional, laid tarps on the ground whenever they needed to work, requested access to our side door entrance rather than our front entrance to keep dirt in the house to a minimum. Slavic promised a free drain inspection and delivered on it.

All in all our experience was wonderful and we would recommend Slavic to anyone who needs a similar type of service performed!

Kitchen stack replacement

Assisted Review

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

Slavic from Toronto, Drain and Plumbing replaced a portion of the kitchen stack which was clogged. He came on time and did a professional job. He had to break cement and replace the faulty kitchen stack. Then he cemented the area. Everything was done to perfection and the price was competitive. I highly recommend Toronto Drain & Plumbing.

Installing backwater valve

Following the Toronto July 8 storm, we contacted Slavic to install a backwater valve. His price was fair and competitive. He explained exactly how the job would be done, arrived precisely at the time promised, and was meticulous in protecting our basement from dust and dirt. The job was completed neatly and professionally -- for us and several of our neighbours who are equally pleased. Slavic will be doing other jobs for us in future. We cannot recommend him more highly..

Backwater valve installation

After the flooding in Etobicoke in July we contacted Toronto Drain and Plumbing to install a backwater valve in our basement. We have been very impressed with the job that Slavic and his helper did in our home. Slavic is prompt, polite, friendly and very knowledgeable about the City rebate program. He installed the valve, arranged for the City inspector to inspect the valve, then, after inspection, filled in the hole ,showed us how to clean the valve and provided us with the proper document to submit to the City for the rebate and he and his helpers cleaned up after everything was completed.. Great Job Slavic! I have already recommended you and our company to other neighbours. Joan and Alex McCulloch

backwater valve installation

Following the July flooding in Etobicoke I hired TORONTO DRAIN & PLUMBING to install a backwater valve in our home. I was initially impressed with his very competitive price but soon realized the true value of his complete service. He explained the rebate program from the City of Toronto; he arranged for the necessary permit; provided the paperwork for the rebate application and scheduled the city inspector to approve the work upon the job completion.
Slavic Buryak (the owner) and his staff provided a timely and courteous service. This included cleaning up and disposing of all waste at the end of the job. I would not hesitate to use his services for any other plumbing or drain problems that I might arise in the future. I have offered him my personal reference

Waterproofing

I am a first time home buyer who recently had to waterproof my house. I met with several companies to get estimates for waterproofing my house (from the outside) and was quoted anywhere between $10,000-$15,000.00 plus taxes. I visited this website and decided to contact Slavic for a quote. My experience with Slavic was exceptional! He took the time to go through the project carefully provided me with solutions to the problems. he was very honest and I could not have been happier with the outcome! I would highly recommend Toronto Drain & Plumbing for waterproofing.
