A while back we noticed that there was some water in our basement and we called Metro as we trusted them with several jobs prior. We called and asked if Andrie (our usual tech) could come and the dispatch was happy to send him over. So when he came he looked around our basement for a few minutes and came to the conclusion that this issue was in our sump pump and that it needed to be replaced. He gave us an estimate for the price and it was good. And then drove off to get the new pump. He got back in about .5 hours and spent some time replacing the pump. When he left the basement looked spotless, there was no water and everything was working. Great customer service and a great job all around.

My basement toilet wasn’t working so I called Metro for an estimate. The plumber came at the exact

time (I was surprised). He then gave me his honest opinion saying that he could unclog the toilet (other

companies said that it needed to be replaced) and gave me a good price. I was thrilled with the news

and agreed. He ended up snaking the toilet and was done everything very fast. I would like to thank

Metro for their honestly and care for customers. I will definitely be calling them again.

I called Metro Plumbing and Drains after I came back from my vacation and my neighbors failed to watch my house. I was really mad and irritated as I came home after a long day of travel and was faced with my water not working. I called them and they came later in the evening. The plumber took about half an hour to fix my pipes and he charged a good price for it. I was very pleased to have such a quick and well done repair at such a price.

I contacted Metro Plumbing to find out why my water stopped. The service person was on time, very nice, reviewed the system, found the problem and then showed me how he came to his conclusion, making sure that I understood. I not only got help, I learned something about the water system! He then gave me advice on how to proceed as it was a city water problem, not one internal to the house. I would not hesitate to recommend Metro Plumbing!!

I live in West of Toronto area. I am one of “Toronto Water” unfortunate customer who experienced frozen pipes during this frigid winter of February 2015 – the coldest one (according to the City records) since 1972. After numerous phone calls to 311 (City hot-line) I was advised to find a Plumber to diagnose my “No-Water” problem. I contacted some Plumbing companies for a quote to unfreeze my frozen water pipes. However, I was not happy with their responses. I found “Metro Plumbing & Drains” on the Internet and read very positive feedback from their previous customers. I phoned “Metro Plumbing & Drains” and received immediate attendance. One hour later Vadym arrived at my door and asked for the Water Meter location. Because we are new residents in the place, we did not know where it was at the time (we were looking for it without success for two days!). It took few minutes for Vadym to locate the Meter. I was so happy (laughing, shouting, jumping and dancing in disbelieve) to see it. Vadym listened carefully to my story about not having water in the house, analysed the problem immediately, and explained in a simple and understandable ways what the issue was and how to solve it. The pipes were frozen from outside of my house and I had to call Toronto Water to fix the problem. Eventually, after almost 3 weeks without water, the job was done. This experience made me believe that Metro staff is highly professional, knowledgeable, experienced, courteous and care greatly about its customers’ needs. Definitely, if the needs arise in the future, I will call them again. Yes, I will happily recommend this business to anyone without hesitation, Thank you very much Vadym and your team for your help and fast service. The tech from Metro came on time to do a big list of jobs that I needed done. He changed my bathroom sink, and replaced three faucets. He was very respectful and timely. Only had the water turned off for about an hour. And he left everything nice and clean when he was done. I could not have asked for better service.

In response to our urgent request we received prompt, courteous,efficient,clean service. Vadym quickly solved a most troubling leak from a dishwasher at a price we were pleased to pay. The professional service was a real help,quite beyond our expectations.

Called Metro late night and promised to have someone here between 8 - 9am the following morning. Andrei V showed up at 8:20am. Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, communicated well. Great service and reasonably priced. Will use them again any time it's required.
