I live in West of Toronto area. I am one of “Toronto Water” unfortunate customer who experienced frozen pipes during this frigid winter of February 2015 – the coldest one (according to the City records) since 1972. After numerous phone calls to 311 (City hot-line) I was advised to find a Plumber to diagnose my “No-Water” problem. I contacted some Plumbing companies for a quote to unfreeze my frozen water pipes. However, I was not happy with their responses. I found “Metro Plumbing & Drains” on the Internet and read very positive feedback from their previous customers. I phoned “Metro Plumbing & Drains” and received immediate attendance. One hour later Vadym arrived at my door and asked for the Water Meter location. Because we are new residents in the place, we did not know where it was at the time (we were looking for it without success for two days!). It took few minutes for Vadym to locate the Meter. I was so happy (laughing, shouting, jumping and dancing in disbelieve) to see it. Vadym listened carefully to my story about not having water in the house, analysed the problem immediately, and explained in a simple and understandable ways what the issue was and how to solve it. The pipes were frozen from outside of my house and I had to call Toronto Water to fix the problem. Eventually, after almost 3 weeks without water, the job was done. This experience made me believe that Metro staff is highly professional, knowledgeable, experienced, courteous and care greatly about its customers’ needs. Definitely, if the needs arise in the future, I will call them again. Yes, I will happily recommend this business to anyone without hesitation, Thank you very much Vadym and your team for your help and fast service.
