Our 8 year old John Wood water tank failed, and we needed a prompt, quality replacement on a very short notice, as it's a tad inconvenient having no hot water for a family of four.

Speaking with Mehmet on the phone, he explained all our options with regards to also wanting to get a larger volume tank this time (we wanted 50 gal at least), quoted an extremely competitive price (he was the third call for me that day), and scheduled a visit for 8:30am the following morning.

He and his colleague shower up right on time, got to work on removing the old tank, installing a new one in its place, and about 90 minutes later we had a new tank filling up and firing.

Their work ethic is top notch, and they use all the modern tools to keep things efficient. Viega fittings system, in particular, I found quite fascinating personally.

I am definitely going to be calling up Mehmet for all our future needs.

GVA Plumbing has once again done work for us. Mehmet is consistently professional, reliable and friendly. He charges a fair price and does excellent work. Before Mehmet arrived he went out of his way to arrange for Kohler to supply us with a faucet replacement part and then when he started to work on our toilet he found that the flange was damaged and he had to go out and buy a repair flange. All this he did with a smile and gave me the impression it wasn’t the least bit inconvenient to his schedule. We would highly recommend him.

I first contacted GVA Plumbing because of all of the excellent reviews on homestars. I was very inpressed with Mehmet and his brother Taz. They were very professional, on time, hard working and friendly. You get what you pay for! I had multiple plumbing issues ( hot water tank, faucet installation, sump pump...) and they were able to do them all no problem. They explained to me all the different issues and why it had to be done. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing or heating issues.

I had GVA replace a kitchen faucet and an older style bathtub faucet with diverter. I found Mehmet easy to work with, polite, friendly and extremely professional. I was impressed that he took care while in my home, removing his shoes and having his tool box padded so it would not scratch my floors. When a difficulty did arise he took time to explain to me what had caused it and how he would fix it. He was very neat and precise in his workmanship. I would use them again and would certainly recommend GVA to friends and family.
